Wonderful, wonder-filled weekends!!!
the incredible free feeling of waking up alarm clock free!
staying in my jammies as long as I wish
watching silly TV with my daughter
Toast with lots of butter and apricot jam
a second and then a third cup of coffee - yum!
wandering through the garden loving what is emerging
sitting on the window seat just listening to the birds and reveling
lazy, laughing conversations with my honey!
long, rambling phone calls with my wonderful sisters and Dad
Jeans!! And tee shirts and sweatshirts!

Nancy, thank you! This thread is perfect!!
I just had the most wonderful weekend ever. I spent it with my boyfriend and his son at their house in the country. Puttering around outside cleaning up the yard. Eating together. Watching a movie and laughing. Baking cookies for the two of them to enjoy. Being outside in the sun ... ahhh! I love the simple life!!
Life is bliss! My heart is SO FULL!
Love,
Christine

Yea! Christine - let's hear it for wonder filled weekends!
- I'm so blessed and appreciative at the time I spend in the joy and laughter of great friends
- I adore the "simple " moments like the purrrrfect ful fillment of the simple joy of hemming my daughter's prom dress
- I love the utter feeling that I get when looking at my wondrul family and knowing that we all get along so well.
- and.... the sweet savoring of the perfect Cosmo!
- There is something soooo sweet about the thrill of having many friends call to connect - so many that I had to turn some down
- and even the fun, fun, fun of window shopping on the internet!
and - now the wonderful start to my week!
- just wallowing in the sweetness of teaching, that I get to play with kids every day, and savor their energy and joy and sense of accomplishment. That I get to laugh and be silly and it's totally ok! That I have incredible freedom to choose my own curriculum - and boy! is it FUN!
- totally loving that this day turned into a sweet sunny spring day! and that I can take my computer outside and send my vibes up higher and higher by rampaging on this great forum!
- Having such wonderful co-workers, dedicated, supportive, highly creative and so very thoughtful!
- The sweetness of having a job that starts early and ends early so that I can savor this sweet sunny day
- The thrill of having packages arrive in the mail! I love boxes - unopened boxes - just full of possibilities!! I love slicing them open and peeking inside and then pulling out the goodies and admiring them, taking them around for my sweetie and sweetess (hubby and daughter) to admire and then setting them on the side table for a day or two to savor!
- Hostas opening, daylilies tall and green, birds flitting in and out of the birdfeeders. The sweet smell of the early green grass. The tremendous opening and growing of spring!
- And the delicious feeling that it is also (of course) a time of opening and growing for me - and anyone else who chooses ... and that I have the choice - each and every day to grow and expand, or to sit back and savor! Or to grow and expand as I sit back and savor!! WHEEEE!
-
What a Wonderful, wonderful, wonder-filled life!!

Incredible!!
The sweetest moment of my weekend ..... and I just now remembered it!!
When my daughter (17). (beautifully happy girl so full of life!.).. came dancing down off the stage during her big musical show, made a bee line for me, grabbed my hand and pulled me into the aisle to dance with her to "We Are Family"!

This made me smile! Whenever I hear that song, I pop up and start dancing, always in honour of my two precious daughters and me. We are the family of my dreams.

Love and hugs to you, Nancy,
