I did a search but didn't find a thread on this subject.
Is there something on the site that addresses the deletion policy? If someone gets a post deleted, are they told before it happens, or do they just find their post gone?
Also, what are reasons for deletion? I know the obvious ones like not sticking to the topic of Abraham and You, or using bad language or things like that, but are there other reasons I don't know about?
I'm hoping asking this question isn't a reason for deletion!!

Hi Jen!
We very very rarely delete a post! And we would PM the person to explain. If we delete one upon request of the poster him or herself, we don't always explain to the board, however. When someone writes to me asking that we delete a post they've made but are now thinking twice about, I usually tell them that if people have already responded we'd better leave it up, but if it's a new thread that hasn't been responded to we'll allow the deletion. But again, this happens VERY rarely!
If there is a thread or post up on the board that you feel is inappropriate or does not abide by the guidelines, you can always PM me or David to point it out and we'll see what's up.
Since this is a universe of "inclusion" (says Abraham), not "exclusion", the guidelines try to address what TO put in a new thread, rather than what NOT to, but my favorite guideline is what David always says: If it feels good - post! AND think of the forum as an Abraham workshop, and bring your questions and comments to the group just as you would in that venue!
Thanks for asking Jen!
