Definition of Escrow would be useful as well. It's not a common term in the UK so is often queried.

Sally
Sally, escrow accounts are sometimes used during real estate transactions, to assure a seller that the buyer has the money, once certain conditions are met by the seller, to actually purchase the property. The money is held in escrow and cannot be used for anything else - it is actually already the seller's money - until such conditions are met - and the sale is completed. So in the case of the Abraham analogy. .. You've created your desire (sold your property) and it exists (payment has been made by buyer into an escrow account in your name) and all you have to do is LINE UP VIBRATIONALLY (pay taxes, or whatever the conditions might be that have to be cleaned up before the property and money change hands).
I hope this didn't make things even muddier! To those of us used to this term, "vibrational escrow" makes perfect sense. We've asked, Source has GIVEN, BUT it's being held in our name until we are vibrationally attuned to receiving (allowing).
Does this help?

Thank you so much, Jody, that is a very clear explanation and would be very useful to have in the forum glossary.
I wasn't being very clear myself; I had already found out what it meant, but it is a query often raised on the forum by non-Americans. (Our equivalent here in terms of house purchase would be Exchange of Contracts, but it really doesn't have the same connotations.)
This has made me wonder - does Esther know that Escrow is not a familar term in the UK? It will be interesting to see whether another analogy is used in the workshops here.
Love, Sally

I think that the nearest term we have over here in UK is "held in trust"
IMHO (abbreviation of "in my humble opinion") the analogy of the houses is both correct and a little limiting. It is also a financial and legal term in US which is not used over here outside of those professions.
So I think "held in trust" would be more accurate over here than "exchange of contracts"
Much love

Let's just keep it simple! Your Vibrational Escrow is everything you have created through your contact with the contrast and your shooting of "rockets' of desire".. - it's all being held for you VIBRATIONALLY until you line up with it and allow its manifestation.
You can call it escrow, you can call it held in trust, and you can call it late for dinner.
Bottom line - get aligned.

Thought I'd resurrect this thread to mention that we now have a wonderful Forum Glossary at the top of the forum under "RESOURCES".
Thank you OceanTurquoiseBlue for providing the basis for that resource. Members can add to it by PM'ing any of the moderators with your addition suggestions.

I have to admit, the first time I read IB on here, I thought the person was referring to their Irritable Bowel! So nice that that wasn't the case.
