Dear friends,
Just thought i would say hello to all you fellow abers. I found this forum a couple of weeks ago and have just registered. I live in the south of england and have been reading the teachings of abraham for about a year now. I want to be a deliberate creator and it feels so good to feel that this is possible and no matter what i have created before it doesnt matter because i can begin to create consciously by learning and apply the teachings. That feels good to me..
I love these teachings because they are so practical and they give me so much hope that i can create the life of my dreams.
Love

Welcome songbird.
Isn't that cool to know that our past can stay in the past? That whatever we have created before is irrelevant? That it doesn't matter where we've been... only where we're going?
And you're right... these teachings are really practical. That is one of the best things about Abe.

Hi New Dawn Rising,
Thank you for your welcome.
Yes, it is really cool to know that and so inspiring too.
It is also powerful too to know that we create our reality that we are doing it all the time either consciously or unconsciously and that the power is in the now moment. Because the only time we ever really have is the present moment of NOW. What i love is that we dont really have to focus on the future on trying to get somewhere else, just on how we are thinking, and so feeling, right now. That by reaching for better feeling thoughts right now we will naturally attract a better future...Isnt that cool...By being joyful and appreciating and laughing and being kinder and easier on ourselves; by feeling better, we will attract good things..Its so simple and yet so powerful..Feel good and you will attract good.
I love your rose picture and i love san fransisco. Its a beautiful part of the world.

I agree totally. That is what I started doing back in the 1990s. I did not set out to create anything special. I just wanted to be happy and I wanted my future to be better. So I focused on the things in my NOW reality that were pleasing to me... and I focused on being as happy as possible with the way things were... and so guess what? Things got LOTS better. I have attracted so many fantastically wonderful things into my life and I did it just like you describe.
No vision boards, no affirmations... nothing like that. I know those things work well for other people... but for me its all too upstream. Like I'm trying too hard to make something happen.
I am glad you are here songbird... I've never been to the U.K. but it is something I'd like to do... so someday I will.

Thank you New Dawn Rising, i am glad that you are here too.
It is really good to hear your positive experience of doing that. That is inspiring to know it worked for you. I feel really positive about creating a wonderful life and i feel that it is possible, really possible to do so. Yippee. Thanks for reminding me to be happy where i am too.
I think that may be it for me too, that thoughts of the future are too upstream for me. Too big of a jump for me. But also i have done alot of buddist practise and the main teaching is that of mindfulness; of being in the present moment. So it feels abit odd to be thinking thoughts of the future alot. But maybe it is not the time frame that is important, rather the content of the thought....whether it is something you want or something that you dont want.... Something that makes you feel good, or something that doesnt!!
