“Tell us how you found us and Abraham-Hicks and a little about your background and interests:”

A year ago I was experiencing a great deal of contrast.  I contacted a locational astrologer and he suggested I re-locate to another area.  I then remembered an exercise I had learned a few years prior.  So I wrote a “Vision Statement” about the place I wanted to move to as if it had already happened.  I shared this with a nurse at work who suggested I watch “the secret”.  I thought the movie was ok, but didn’t think much more of it.

My inner guide ::frogwanted me to pursue it more and I went to a bookstore to look for a related book.  They had a display with books from the movie and on the backside, Abraham-Hicks books.  I went back to the bookstore 3 times looking for the right book.  I took several down and looked over each one 36_13_3as well as the CD’s.  I finally settled on “Ask and it is Given” I got jazzed about it and then gradually it slipped into the background.

While I was in NC checking it out, my boss called me and told me my position at work had been eliminated::LOL. So, I ended up moving to NC.  After my move I had slipped back into much more negative ways of thinking, then I went to meet a wonderful new friend who showed me her home and as I was leaving she mentioned Abraham-Hicks.  Next thing I knew I was driving home with a stack of CD’s that I never thought I’d get through and 2 dozen eggs.  ::rainbowWhooooohoooo.

I have been listening to those precious cd’s for 2 weeks.  I was searching on the internet for the Abraham-Hicks site and came across this site and am so delighted to find like-minded friends.

I got my training as a music therapist ::musicfrom a university in PA and have been studying therapeutic singing with a man from Germany.  Much of my interest lies in the study of spiritual science which is the basis of the therapeutic singing work ::singerI am learning to do. In addition to music I love nature, the stars, cows, bees, chickens, fiber art, bio-dynamically grown food and real milk & honey.

Thanks for listening

Welcome to the Forum tonalgrace!

Ask And It Is Given is my favorite - that was a good choice for your first Abe book.  :)

I liked reading your story.  It is interesting to hear how various people come to these teachings and this Forum.  Music therapy sounds fascinating too.  I never heard of it before... I think I'll do an internet search on it.

Dear Mueni & NDR,

Thankyou both so very much for the feedback!!!  I read several of your posts before joining this forum.  I love Mueni's avatar photo, the light radiates out from the beautiful faces and the warmth that comes through all of your posts.

NDR,  I read several posts by you and there was one in particular that really struck me.  I connected right away with what you were saying.  I think it was the one on living in your vibrational escrow.

I am smiling from ear to ear and my heart is very happy.

I look forward to reading and writing more.

One thing I've realized is that I have manifested many things in my life especially trips to places I've wanted to go, however, I was always limited in my thoughts about how to get there.  I have always believed I had to work really hard and maybe I could get a little time off work from my minimum wage job or I would charge it all to a credit card to go and do and be what I wanted.  Now I have learned having money to be free to do, be and have anything is not a sin and that my having money won't deprive anyone else of having money.  That was a real revelation.

Now I realize I can have, do or be anything I want, I just need to keep my focus on what makes me feel good.

Also NDR, the post you had from an Abe session with the dialogue and the guest.  That was also very special for me.  It seems Abraham helped the person get very clear about where there were emotionally and looked at their beliefs and then helped them shift the vibration around that to move down stream.  It was a wonderful example that can be incorporated for everyone.

thanks again for the warm welcome.

with much appreciation

Dear Theresa,  I enjoyed your post and story.  Wonderful to see how we are guided to where we are supposed to be in this life.  It is all good.  ::cool

I agree the CD's are precious.  I listen to them everyday, and it sets me in the perfect vibration for my day and night.  I can listen to old CD's over and over again, and I never fail to enjoy and also reap some new insight.  ::ohm

You will continue to enjoy the forum and looking forward to seeing more of your posts.  Your singing therapy sounds very interesting, enjoy your new studies.  Jackie
