I LOVE that picture. Now I'll have to keep mine the same for a while just so I can still look at this one! Your smiles are fabulous, and I think it's because you were on your way to refill those glasses!

Oh, wow, and upstream river!  What would Abraham say? Must be a dip in the earth. Is there a big lake at the end of it? or does it just dissappear back into the earth?
Very interesting.
And I'd love to see it in colors!

Dear carol/chicken woman/LOVE I AM Smile,
It is quite a special river in that it has class 6 (or what ever is the highest #) rapids that people come to ride from all over the world. It is also the river that base jumpers from all over the world come to jump into (off of a very high bridge =the new river gorge bridge) one day of the year. I believe too that it is one of the oldest rivers (in the world).---it is just an independant river=an ABER!!! It flows in one direction=so it has a down stream, it is just different from other rivers=we West Virginiams have long been know to be fiercly independant/individualistic=which is ABE stuff.
The thing that is not Abe is the heavy vibrations of staying in old thoughts (independant though they may be). I have long said that the song "If I can make it here I can make it anywhere"=sung about New York City---is really about WV. It is very hard to shift here and if you can (which I can) make it here you can make it anywhere!!!!!!!!!
In 2008 =I am shifting into Source flowing through me at the speed of my river and I want it and I get it  and I want it and I get it and I want it and I get it!!! ...all year .

I think class 5 is the highest it goes, but I'm not a total expert on REAL rivers.
For me 2008 is the year of ALLOWING.

Hmmm, this photo is funny, because the walls in this room are a soft, soft blush color. In the photo they look gold, and I look like I have more color than I do..... Oh well, I'm sure this one won't be here for long!

Okay! Here it is... This one was taken on the Ferry between Vermont and NY on Lake Champlaine (sp?) in February 2007. The ferry was cutting right through thin sheets of ice - felt like Alaska! And... it's a self portrait - David is holding the camera out in his left hand and taking the picture himself in response to my complaint that our entire Vermont vacation all the pictures had been of me alone! (That was before my photography challenged days ended... wait til you see me on the Mexico cruise - with MY CAMERA!!!! And I even know how to use it! sort of....- Jody)

Wow! Is it even POSSIBLE for you two to take a bad picture? I'm so glad you are going to bring your camera! I'm going to bring mine too! We'll see what happens...
I hope it's okay with you, I saved that last picture of you into my photos on my computer because I like it so much! If it's not okay with you, I'll delete it, but I just really loved your smiles!
