Okay, I've decided to take the plunge and change my avatar. I know that some of you might not recognise me without my white horse on the beach, but I want to know what you think. Does the change throw you as much as having other people's avatars change throws me?

You said that it was your art---Did you photograph or paint that horse????
WOW I am impressed.
I like this horse and it doesn't throw me too much...besides I remember Abe saying in some tape that he wants us to get so that we don't give a "rip" what Abe thinks...to be so sure of ourselves...

I use soft pastels in my art. It's kind of a fancy way of saying that I finger paint with expensive chalk! I started last January and have been doing more and more until I realized I needed a website (almost totally up and running) and I really love this medium.
Thanks for asking.
At first I had a picture of me, but I am not ready to put that up as an avatar yet, I guess! Not sure I want to look at it every time I post!

Carol, I think your avatar (your art) is really beautiful. I really like the other one too, but I think this is more you because you made it, it is your creation

Okay, here's the real me, feeling sleepy. Maybe I'll come up with a cheery one like David and Jody, but for now, here's the real me.
Whew! Such an identity crisis over an avatar! I guess I am appreciative that this is the little thing that sets me off, not anything huge and unmanageable!
Or maybe I'll do this in the "All or nothing" way that I tent towards and change my avatar every week!

This would be a magnificent creator, who is a beacon of light and love, who is so powerful, creative and wonderful, she inspires and uplifts, kind and caring, she is a joyful little being, an amazing artist, with a touch of amnesia because she has forgotten all of the above, watch out when she remembers !!!
