aurora wrote: Hi Paul!
I have the dvd , Abraham Well Being Cruise Alaska 2005,and the questioner asks about angels and spirit guides. In the answer, Abraham describes Esther's vision of them. I watched it and wrote, stopped, etc, until I wrote it verbatim so you could read it. I know what it's like to shoot off that rocket and want an answer. So, here goes!
"Esther said to us one night early on in her new relationship with us consciously, 'Abraham, I want to see you.' And we said to her, 'We don't think you really do' because we'd seen her lying in her bed with her eyes closed afraid that she might see us. She was beginning to develop a really nice relationship with us and she didn't want anything weird to happen that would upset her in any way.
"And so she said, 'No, really, Abraham I do want to see you.' And we said to her 'Then open your eyes.'
It was a very dark bedroom out under a Texas sky. Jerry was asleep and Esther opened her eyes and she saw a room full of fireflies, what looked like a million fireflies, too many to count. And then all of the fireflies gathered together in one corner emitting a light so bright that Esther could not look into it and then the bright light dispersed into several lights around the room, not millions and not one bright light but several lights around the room that Esther could behold and she then said, 'I see that you are energy.' and we said, 'This is your visual translation of that which we are'and it is the most accurate translation that Esther in her practical mindedness could find because it was the translation in the way that we were projecting it. In other words, we want Esther to understand that we are energy.
There are those that want their spirit guides or their non physical energy stream to match the stories that they've been told."
So, there it is. I hope you enjoy it. It's a lovely vision, isn't it? ::night
cheers,
aurora
Wow. Thanks for sharing that.

Thank you for typing that up, aurora. I'd heard the story but didn't know its source. It was great to learn where the story came from and get it verbatim.
Thanks!

One day I was in our public library and I starting reading Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsh. I think I read the whole book that day and when I got home I decided to look up his website. When I found his website his was talking about the book Ask and It Is Given by Esther and Jerry. It would be another two months that when I was in the local BN that I saw the book setting on the shelf. I skipped the intro and read the first chapter..I have been hooked on the teachings ever since.
I have been into the Abe teachings for about two years.

I answered yes but for me its kinda of yes and no. I didn't get to see the version of The Secret with Abraham but after learning about the The Secret I went on a search for more information on the Law of Atrraction and that is when I found ABE. I am sure glad I did.

:dancer:Was one of those moments of Synchronicity. I was in New York on business, and I wanted to read a book on the return journey. I picked up a Jerry & Esther Hicks book at random, and just loved it...the very day I got back to the UK, "The Secret' was all over the television.
Am now trying to network with others applying the teaching of Abraham.

Hi everyone,
no, I knew Abraham way before "The Secret". Somehow it was like the next logical step in my search, when a friend gave me the reference of David's mailing list .
By the way, it feels good, to be here!::night

The Secret lead me to Abe in a round about way. I had heard a friend mention "The Secret" so I went to Amazon to look it up and got to reading the reviews. Several of the reviewers mentioned the Hicks and Abe and another book by Linda Day called "The Circle". I sort of remembered seeing the Hicks' name on Hay House Radio so I listened to a couple of the shows on there and then bought the audiobook "The Law of Attraction". After that I read "The Secret".
I just finished AAIIG and am just starting "The Amazing Power of Deliberate Intent". I am remembering alot. I really like the processes. They help give the concepts a practical use (can you tell I am a Virgo ).
Anyway that's how I found Abe.
