| Yes, The Secret led me here. It was the more recent version without Esther. I saw the shows on Oprah and was interested. I bought the DVD on my birthday. I became interested in the LOA, and I kept seeing references to Abraham-Hicks on various message boards. One day I saw the Abraham-Hicks LOA audio book CD set and bought it. I actually thought Abraham was the one from the bible or something! I was surprised or course, and completely taken by it. My life changed after just hearing the first CD. Since then I have purchased AAIIG, The Law of Attraction in Action DVD, and The Secret Behind the Secret DVD - plus have been studying everything I can get my hands on online.

Hi! I had a very unusual dream about 2 years ago and woke up with the word "Athabascar" in my head. I looked it up and the picture in my dream was on the website.  I told someone about it and she told me about Abraham. It turns out the picture on the website and in my dream matches the description of Esther's vision of Abraham. 
Then I heard about The Secret. I only have the original version also and haven't seen the newer one.

One thing I would like to do regarding "The Secret" DVD is find a copy with Abraham on it................

Dugholes - you can still buy copies of the original version on Amazon, from various marketplace sellers. They start at about $30.

I met Abraham through a little "religious" publication (not sure) that jumped out at me in a supermarket checkout line. Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the magazine, but it featured John Edward ("Crossing Over") and that was the draw for me.
I'm sure I would have stumbled upon this information eventually, but I am delighted with the way it came about. I have since purchased AAIIG, TAPODI and LOA books and read them each several times, particularly AAIIG.
I'm really happy to have found this forum and the Abe List, which drew me to it.
I love Abraham, Jerry and Esther THIIISSS MUCH! ::hug

i learned the secret of abraham from esther on the secret...
yep....
so glad i saw it....cause it led me here! but i have been practicing LOA for longer than that through other teachers....but abe and esther really gave me the biggest relief and AHA...so, the buck stops here...

I've been reading the Abe quotes on Yahoo's e-list for years now. It's the most direct, simple descriptions I've found (besides the Seth material ages ago).
I have the version of The Secret that doesn't have Esther Hicks in it. :X I would have loved to see it.

linda, as someone posted previously--you can still find it by doing a search on amazon and looking into used tapes...i am sure if you intend to, it will jump right out at you---and yes, its wonderful! i saw esther on that tape and my mouth just dropped open in awe and love...

Hi Paul!
I have the dvd , Abraham Well Being Cruise Alaska 2005,and the questioner asks about angels and spirit guides. In the answer, Abraham describes Esther's vision of them. I watched it and wrote, stopped, etc, until I wrote it verbatim so you could read it. I know what it's like to shoot off that rocket and want an answer.So, here goes!
"Esther said to us one night early on in her new relationship with us consciously, 'Abraham, I want to see you.' And we said to her, 'We don't think you really do' because we'd seen her lying in her bed with her eyes closed afraid that she might see us. She was beginning to develop a really nice relationship with us and she didn't want anything weird to happen that would upset her in any way.
"And so she said, 'No, really, Abraham I do want to see you.' And we said to her 'Then open your eyes.'
It was a very dark bedroom out under a Texas sky. Jerry was asleep and Esther opened her eyes and she saw a room full of fireflies,what looked like a million fireflies, too many to count. And then all of the fireflies gathered together in one corner emitting a light so bright that Esther could not look into it and then the bright light dispersed into several lights around the room, not millions and not one bright light but several lights around the room that Esther could behold and she then said, 'I see that you are energy.' and we said, 'This is your visual translation of that which we are'and it is the most accurate translation that Esther in her practical mindedness could find because it was the translation in the way that we were projecting it. In other words, we want Esther to understand that we are energy.
There are those that want their spirit guides or their non physical energy stream to match the stories that they've been told."

| No. Been "into" LOA stuff since mid-90s thru Church of Religious Science and other things. First heard about Abraham-Hicks thru Lynn Grabhorn's Book "Excuse Me Your Life is Waiting" in about 1999. I was curious and did a little research but truthfully, I didn't think it would be very worthwhile. I mean... the Hicks from Texas? How good could that be? (I'm from a very progressive part of the country and figure anyone from Texas isn't exactly open-minded. Which shows how close-minded I am right?) Then I was in the San Francisco Airport and saw the book "Ask And It Is Given". That was in 2005. Since I had no reading material for the plane I bought it and fell in love with Abraham. Been to two workshops since then.
