Oh, Silky, I am SO happy you were at that workshop!  Your memory for the highlights made a great post even without "notes".  Thank you!!  I second the request for a picture of you and Tom!  All of us here on the forum feel like we KNOW you guys! You are "our" wonderful new joyful Aber-couple!!!  ::hugging::hearts

I do want to correct the dates on the Tihiti cruise just to avoid any misunderstanding.   The Tahiti cruise with Abraham is slated for May 2, not January as you mentioned.  However, there will be a cruise in January 2009, to Mexico.  And another Alaska cruise in July 2009.  All three 2009 cruises will be on different cruise lines! So we'll get to taste some variety and have some South Pacific fun!!! YAY!!!

Hi Jody,

Thanks so much for the clarification on the Tahiti Cruise. Tom and I are definitely interested in that one!

I thought of something else that Abe talked about. A lady asked for clarification on this Abe quote:  "Whenever something that you think you want does not unfold, it is for one of two reasons: Either your habit of vibration, your belief, your dominant vibration that you are offering relative to the subject, doesn't match what you think your desire is, or, you and your desire are a perfect match, and this thing you think you want just doesn't match, and so the Universe doesn't deliver it." At this point, I can't remember specifically what Abraham said, but it was definitely one of those moments of crystalization and a wonderful deepening of "getting it."

Okay, I'm going to post a photo of Tom and then one of us taken on Saturday. You can even see our name tags!

Much love,

Silky

Jerry mentioned that they are planning a cruise to Tahiti in January of 2009 on a smaller ship. Tom and I are very interested in going!!!

AHA! I knew it, when I heard Abe way going to Australia in December I knew it was only a matter of time before they started cruising the South Pacific..& in summer it will be so beautiful & romantic... ***DREAMY SIGH!****

I've always wanted to try scuba diving & I think Tahiti is a great place for it... Abraham & ROMANCE!

Thanks, Violet, for sharing about the wonderful workshop and Riverwalk in San Antonio!

I would love to hear more explanation about the part of the quote I put in bold lettering (was Abraham speaking about some other thing along the way other than the ultimate desire not lining up with the true ultimate desire?):

"... or, you and your desire are a perfect match, and this thing you think you want just doesn't match, and so the Universe doesn't deliver it."

Thanks! ::thumb

Shari,

That's cause we were so happy! ::nod I loved being with Abraham, loved meeting Carol and Silky Violet, loved lunch in the sun, loved San Antonio, loved the trip there and back. I loved it all!

Laura, I'm sorry I missed seeing you. Maybe next time. ::thumb

One of the things that hit home for me... On the cds, the videos, all that, when Abraham says "there is much love for you here" that little bit I could feel via that medium was just a tiny morsel of what I felt sitting in that conference room. You really can feel that love. The love, energy, and higher vibration is pervasive. Many times my eyes welled with joy. If anyone reading this has never been to a workshop, all I can say is get there any way you can. This experience is going to be with me for a long time.

I spoke at length with George (the employEE) prior to the workshop, I was standing right behind him in line. That was such a delicious exchange. Valerie and I sat right behind him through the first 3/4 of the workshop, then moved right beside him. Anyway, before we got started he was writing his questions. And the question I had, Carol helped me answer so I didn't have to ask at all! lol!

I keep remembering parts that were significant to me at the time. Mostly I recall the energy and how good it felt to sit and bask in it. I too look forward to the recordings as I know there were thngs I missed.

As was mentioned earlier, there were two wonderful exchanges about autism. Since one son is one of these unique beings, I payed close attention. What I got out of that was these are not flawed beings, they are more advanced communicators. This also brought about a meaningful exchange with two other ladies while standing in line for the Ladie's Room. We talked about how dogs are being trained as service companions for autistic children and how that works so well. Dogs are more advanced thinkers than we give them credit for as well, just like the children.

I had so many conversations with others in the most unique places. And the breakfast was great too!

Still humming with joy and appreciation,

Karen

Violet - Ahhhhhhhhhh... you make a gorgeous couple.  He's so handsome!!  You should post this picture on your other romance thread - I think people reading that thread would love to see the "happy ending" (or for us Abraham people "happy beginning" :)).  That picture is the definition of a couple in love.

Much happiness!

Nice! I went to college in San Antonio and spent many wonderful mealtimes and evenings on the riverwalk. That was way, way, way back in the late 70s when there wasn't much there -- and before Mi Tierra near the county jail got respectable ::LOL

Hi Sunlover,

Oh gosh, I wish I could remember what Abraham said exactly about this. As soon as I get the cds from the workshop, I promise to post what Abe said!

Yes, I agree, Tom is a handsome guy! Of course, the photo of me isn't so great, but I do think our love and connection comes through. I deeply appreciate everyone's wonderful support!!!

And Lee, I bet you have some memories of The Riverwalk from your college days. Did you go to Trinity???

Much love,

Silky (Violet)
