Hi Gabby and all my fellow Abesters attending London's seminar.
This is my first Abe seminar having soaked up the Abe teachings since 2000 (when I found them online and lapped them up and applied them from deep contrast at the time <lol>
Now its all living an amazing dream life....in the feel good flow
On Saturday I will wear a green ribbon and intend playing full out to feel good all day and ENJOY meeting you all and soaring in the vibe.
I was born in Zim (welcome to the couple who are flying in to the seminar from Zim)
...and lived lots in South Africa - mainly Cape Town. Now, with my kids grown and having been on my own for 8 years, I just met Nick my soul-dream mate (we married in December 07) and we are based on the Isle of Wight in the UK summer and also have a home in Cape Town for the SA summer... thankful, grateful and excited to be taking the train up to London for the day as part of my adventurous travelling life!!!
See ya all soon...hugz and love

Wowowowow... that was just so good!
I suppose it's obvious really, but I'd really not actually realised just how huge the Abe movement has become. I suppose I would have thought they could sell out a room that size in the US, but to do that in the UK is just phenomenal...!
'There's never a crowd on the leading edge' - erm, I'd beg to differ! I reckon in ten years time, they'll be selling out Wembley...!
And there's still tomorrow to look forward to now...!

Today the workshop was absolutely wonderful!!!
I've heard Abraham say 'All of your questions will be answered' before but didn't realise how true that is when you are there!
The venue was very good, i believe it was close to a 1000 people there, but even those of us sitting right at the back got a great view due to the raised seating and the big video screen behind the stage. We could also hear very well, and the energy was fantastic!
A great experience and we can't wait for the cds of the workshop to arrive, to listen to all of it again!!

Oh it was really something! People say we Brits are reserved, but the cheering and clapping when Esther and Jerry made their first appearance and the standing ovation at the end didn't sound too reserved to me! lol
As this was their first time in the UK, some of the questions weren't as leading edge as I've heard on the CDs, but then again some were! Gabby got into the hotseat with a great question about her mandalas and she was wearing a green ribbon around her neck!!! (Btw, there were no nametags at this workshop.)
For me personally, I got the absolutely perfect seat for me and when Abraham said that all questions would be answered I focused briefly on Israel, because I've been considering moving there. I also thought about teaching, as I have some questions about how to bring Abraham into the rigid "achievement-targeting" structure we have in this country.
The very first man called (and there were far more men than women called to the hotseat!) said as his first words "Shalom Abraham". He was an Israeli!!! I think I must have squeaked with excitement cos the guy next to me looked at me a little oddly!
There were also lots of great comments about teaching, at what stage a student can actually hear you and also about seeing their VE and not then looking back at where they are and feeling bad.
Some quotes and paraphrases that I noted at the time. The quotes are as accurate as I could get them down.
On autism:
Autistic children are saying "I'm going to be unalterable, hard to change", so for us to feel better about them, we will have to change our vibration. "They are not struggling with who they are, you see." But Abraham also made the point that "there are no unchangeable conditions".
We can't override what someone is putting into their VE but we can and do put things about them into our VE. "Now you must keep up with your expanded version of them and any negative emotion you feel is evidence of your gap between where they are and where you have put them in your VE".
"You cannot be less than you have become and feel good."
On relationships:
They used what I think of as "Scott's question":
When we feel positive emotion: "What am I seeing in you that I'm using as my excuse to keep me in connection with who I really am?"
When feeling negative emotion: "What am I looking at in you that I'm using as my excuse to separate myself from who I really am?"
"You have control over the behaviour of all others as it relates to you."
A musician asked whether alignment was possible without engaging the mind and the response was that "music and meditation put people into a state of allowing or non-resistance" and that "music is a translation of vibration".
Creation is a rendezvous, a vibrational output that LOA responds to.
When we feel a connection to people in PPE, it's because of a shift in us, not in them.
Then there was Gabby's great question on mandalas and the answer referred to symbols being a distraction from normal thoughts in the same way as meditation.
"A teacher is only as effective as his understanding of where his student is."
"There is no reality apart from the vibration you are emanating."
"You can only call forward [teach] those who are close to your vibration."
On materialism - the context was a question about Eastern religions which teach that personal desire and materialism are sources of suffering:
"Everything you see is spirit materialised."
"Joy is the ultimate desire."
"The only time you ever question the validity of a desire is when you are out of sync with it."
On Alzheimer's:
"You call it The Long Goodbye but we call it The Long Hello."
Creation is putting something into VE and finding alignment with it. Alzheimer's is a gradual lessening of ability to focus here and a greater allowing of PPE. It's a comfortable withdrawal and releasing of resistance, so don't try to re-engage them with life here; that defeats the purpose.
The lady who asked about Alzheimer's also said that she wanted her father to "get" who she is [a medium] and compared her situation to Esther's (i.e. that Esther's parents didn't understand what she was doing when they were here).
"Allowing means allowing someone who is not allowing you."
"If someone doesnt get you, it's because you're not radiating who you really are."
On choosing an abusive childhood:
"You choose those who will evoke from you a better game."
"You've forgotten that negative emotion is guidance."
On nurturing children:
"Children lose their connection to Source by trying to please you! It trains them away from knowing their own feelings."
"Look for the best in things, give the benefit of the doubt and demonstrate to them how you manage your own gap."
On making a business idea into a success:
When we're receiving [e.g. writing, composing] the juices are flowing. The vibration of money can taint that flow until we fix our vibration around it.
"Activate within yourself the value that you can offer to someone else, and not the value that you want them to bring to you."
Trying to find the feeling place of success: "The satisfaction when someone "gets it" is the same as the feeling of success. Find the feeling place in whatever way you can."
"Come into alignment with your vision, talk about it until you feel it; then you'll be inspired to action."
"Action is the way you enjoy the success you've created with your alignment."
On focus:
"Steer your thoughts, don't micro-manage them. The more general you are, the nearer you are to Source and the less resistance there is."
About Jesus and why, if LOA is valid, was he crucified:
"He was born believing that the Crucifixion was his destiny. Talk about expectation!"
On giving to charity:
Everyone has access to Source. When we give, there is an underlying message that the recipient can't do it [access Source] for themselves.
"If someone is disempowered, no resources can make a difference, ultimately."
On relationships again:
"I care so much about my alignment that your appreciation or not of where I am is irrelevant by comparison."
Our primary relationship is our relationship with our own gap.
"You can extract from others the best of who they are when you are aligned with Source."
"No one can give you a piece of their negative aspect that's not active in you."
"When you co-create, you put more into your VE."
"Everything you're living is the indication of your chronic vibration."
I'm really looking forward to reading notes from others! I'm sure we all took something slightly different from every question

Isobel!
Oh, my goodness, I can just picture it all.. how exciting! And Gabby was on the hotseat!! I can't wait for her to come and tell us all about it. I'm not surprised though. The way she's been prepaving this for so long and with such excitement! How could she not have "lit up" for Abraham! YAY!!!
And there was an Israeli in the hotseat! WOW! I wonder who this mystery Israeli Aber is!
Now about your considering moving to Israel.. we'll have to talk... !!!!!
I love the part about the "long hello".
So much good stuff here!! I agree with Scott - I'm definitely going to be looking forward to the recordings of this particular workshop.
Isobel, please send your notes to David by PM or email, if possible by WORD doc. and he'll put them on the Abraham Appreciators site.

Well after discovering today just what size of house I could rent for what I'm paying in the UK - it's become a real possibility instead of just wishful thinking. I would be delighted to get your perspective on it!
