....And this one came from a girl that lives in Juneau. She is standing inside Mendenhall Glacier! I might have to move there to accomplish this one   ::light

I'll have a bigger picture of this on the cruise. The color of that ice is amazing....  like blue obsidian glass.

Regarding the energy felt from Abraham, I went to last weekend's workshop in Seattle. It was my first Abe Live experience, and this Alaska trip will be my first criuse with them too! I sat in the front row and was so elated at first! I looked at them and imediately the thought came to me, "you are going to help me today!" I wasn't called to the hotseat but I was definitely helped. However I confess that it took me a few days of digesting to realize it. During the seminar I began to feel somewhat irritable, but mostly I had a intense and growing headache and could actually feel myself leaving my own body. I have some catching up to do, as I intend to aim for the front row on the criuse as well. I'll also pretty short, and in crowds I tend to get somewhat panicy. I think when that happens it's best to sit in the front so that you don't feel closed in. I can feel the people behind me, but I don't see them and for whatever reason, that feels safer.
What a wild ride this wonderful life is! David (5 year old of "what's lava traction" fame, is keeping careful record of the days until we leave on our criuse!

I'm still deciding what the well dressed white-horse-on-the-beach outfits will be! I'm giving lots of attention to the wonderful weather to be warm, so
See you all there!

Love and Blessings,
Carol

Carol,

You reminded me of what happened to me 2 years ago on my first Abraham cruise.  I am very much a front row person - and intended to head right down to the front on the first day of workshops.  I entered the auditorium on the second level and walked down toward the front.  When I got about 10 rows from the stage I "froze" - it was like a wall of intense energy held me back from walking any closer.  I sat about 11 rows back, and each day after that kept going farther and farther back until I ended up in the balcony.  The energy was just too intense (although WONDERFUL) for me to sit near the front!

A couple of months after that I attended another workshop in Washington DC.  This time I stayed in the hotel where the workshop took place, and had saved seats in the front row the evening before for myself, David and friends.  So I was "locked into" the front row.  We sat about 6 feet from where Esther stood.  I got a terrible headache and became so nauseous I had to leave in the middle of the first segment to get some air.  I was okay the rest of the day, but a little dizzy.  At one point, while looking at Esther speaking Abraham, her face "morphed" for me, and I saw my father's eyes and expressions looking out as Abraham spoke.  (He died 7 years earlier).

So the energy affects everyone differently. For some, there is not discernable reaction such as this, and it hasn't happened to me since and I've been to many workshops since then.  When they finally called me to the hotseat in August 2006, I guess I had pretty well matched their vibration finally so they were able to "see" me and I was able to handle the hotseat experience.

I know you are going to experience the cruise on a deep level.  As you said about your first workshop, sometimes it's much later that its affect makes itself known.  I am so deeply excited right now for this latest adventure, I'm just floating here in the Amsterdam airport, waiting for my flight to Seattle.

There is certainly no doubt the "Lava Traction" brought us all together, on this forum, and soon on the ship on the Waters of Well Being.
