Oh, don't believe Mr. "I won't talk to you without a picture!" He talked to me for almost a year while my avatar was a white horse on a beach.
Carol, that was back when I still believed in talking horses. Thanks for helping me get over that!

I reserved side trips this week based much upon the 2007 thread. Thank you to Rick for posting the thread and to ALL for the wonderful descriptions of the Alaskan side trips you have experienced. I have pretty much booked Dennis on "get in it and do it by foot" side trips and me on ones that are not by footsies trips. In our marriage, LOA of opposite beings has worked INCREDIBLY for 35 years in these physical bodies!
I love this forum! I have met a wonderful new friend here who I am off to meet for coffee in a little while. Love, joy, abundance, health and happiness for all of us!!!!
With joy, MaryAnn

Hi Jody would you add me to the Alaska group
I am going on the Caribbean cruise next week and am already so excited its hard to believe it can get any better but it is.
I have dreamed of Alaska all my life and have just learned my job of the last 12 years is closing out July 15. Since the Abe cruise is only 5 days latter it must be fate. I decided to go into this transition in full joy and knowing my continued abundance and joy.
What a great way to transition into whatever the universe has in store than sandwiching it between two Abraham cruises knowing only good comes in my life.
I am doing roommate match for this one knowing lois will find me the perfect roommate. I already have a port room picked out
Thanks all of you for your joy and knowing.
What a wonderous adventure my life is.

I had several dreams about the cruise last night! I was getting ready to purchase my tickets, was packing my bags, talking to a friend about caring for my pets while I was gone. The excitement in the dream was almost tangible, the same way I feel when I think about this cruise!
I'm still launching my rockets of desire about this one! I can hardly wait to go!

Hi All
Think I did answer this roll call before, but I think it dissapeared when the site went down that time. However I'll sign on again. I am flying to Seattle late on 18th July, also interested in hotel recommendations anyone might have. Looking forward to this my first cruise and to meeting everyone.

Gerrie, you are right, we did lose a few days of posts. Welcome again to the Alaska Roll Call!! We are going to have a fabulous time this summer!
The Fairmont hotel is absolutely lovely, HAL provides transportation to the pier on embarkation morning, and it's walking distance to the fun stuff in Seattle. (Just my two cents - others will have more recommendations I'm sure)
Love,
Jody

5 months to go is not much to crow about but we are now down to 4 months and counting! Let the low rumbles be heard.
When we get down to 3 months I think we will start hearing some noise.
Just because today was the 4 month mark it stood for something in my mind and it made the cruise more real. I realized the power of my anticipation - the power that this cruise holds for me.
So today as I merged onto the New York State Thruway, A vehicle passed me with a bumper sticker which read:
CORDOVA ALASKA
NO ROADS
That's like a LOA rendezvous or something.

Rick,
I know you don't talk to avatars , but I just want you to know how much I appreciate the lovely pictures you took on previous cruises. I look at them and find it so easy to vibrate with Alaska and the cruise.

Rick, we will be traveling with a nanny and her daughter, so we'll be more able to join in some of the shore excursions than we might have had we had to move at David's pace. Hmmmm. Bears fishing for salmon is sounding pretty exciting!
And remember, Rick talks to whomever he wants to talk to.
