I am having so much fun reading the tips from Carol and the sites that Rick suggested!!! Here's what I have learned:
*there is beautiful scenery as Rick's GORGEOUS photo shows!
*leave my laptop at home
*forget the summer sandals
*I want to see everything, and that zipline sounds incredible !
*use a camera vs a cell phone for photos
*bring the Bonine - it's great for sea sickness
*I will definintely dote on little David and not even for drinks!
*there will be the most joyous, fun people and I can't wait!
*I will love my first time as an Abraham workshopper
But, I still have to know the answer to a most important question: is it better to eat early or late??????
Many thanks for the responses. MaryAnn

Hi all...
I'm new to the boards but have studied Abraham for quite a while. OH gosh.....I have had the "call" to do this cruise for the longest time and my husband just agreed that we should go ahead and put the deposit down!!
EEEEEEEE!!!!!!! Ohhhh, I've got the nervous heebeejeebees! LOL! It's a financial stretch of great magnitude but I'm putting the intention out there that it will be paid for in full with cash!!! Easily! Joyfully!
Question question....anyone who has gone. Are the Queen beds the "normal" size Queen beds? A bit bigger? A bit smaller? He's very tall and prefers a King...and of course those staterooms are more expensive but for a week...it's important.
Thanks so much!

Hi Donna! Welcome to the Forum AND to the Alaska Cruise roll call!! YAY!!!!!
Yes, the staterooms have queen sized beds... however keep in mind that they are actually two half-of-a-queen-sized stuck together, rather than one large queen mattress. In the SC, SB, SA, and SP suites the beds are king sized. And in those cases it's two regular sized singles put together.
I'm adding you to the roll call! If you want to put your husbands name up too, please send it along!
We're going to have a FABULOUS time in Alaska!

Hi Jody!
Thank you for the welcome! His name is Greg.
Gee...two singles pushed together to make a king sounds smaller than two half queens pushed together. But maybe that's just my imagination not putting that together too well. Have to ponder that. LOL
Anyway, I'm right now looking at the deposits and taking deep breaths!
I know it will be beyond words incredible.

Hi Donna! I'm stretching too! Matter of fact I needed a break from working on my taxes so I checked the forum for a diversion and there was your Alaska stated stretch! Welcome to our planned trip and it is so much fun to be excited about this adventure the excitement contributes to my belief in the intending of it happening!!!

You know Rainbowaterfall, for some reason each time I see your name it reminds me of this picture I took in Niagara Falls a couple years ago.

What a beautiful photo Rick! Years ago when it was time to choose a screenname, I thought of two of my favorite things and put them together. It's kind of a long handle but I still love the visual and emotional energy of the two of them! Looking forward to meeting you on our way to Alaska!

I just want to remind you all that the Universe is VERY FLEXIBLE if you will just relax and allow it to do it's own stretching!
See you on the Cruise!

Yep! You are correct Carol! Actually, my stretching is about not taking action! For me it is stretching as I continually line up my thoughts, feelings, energy rather than allowing myself to worry and take action! So, my stretching is really about the stretching that I do when I bend over to lay the oars down in the boat. Actually, I guess I could just throw them overboard huh?~!
