Hey Everybody!! The countdown clock says 18 days, but I leave in 2 weeks for Seattle and I'm beyond excited!! We have 50 people signed up for our Meet n Greet in the Crow's nest on the day of sailing! That's the biggest forum group yet on a cruise since we launched the forum, and it means Forum members represent over 10% of the whole Abraham workshop group! I'm sure by the time the cruise is over we'll have passed the word to many others there as well who will want to come and share the fun on the Abe Forum. This is so exciting!
If anyone has anything particular they'd like to share or say or do (no juggling please ) at the meet-up, please let me know by PM. Rick has something planned, and David will be sending in his words, and we're open to anything anyone has to offer. Otherwise we'll just kick back and get to know one another. I'm really looking forward to this!!
A waiter will be available for cocktail and soft drink orders - be sure to bring you room key for charge purposes. They'll have a water set-up ready for us.
So what's on everyone's minds? It's THIS MONTH now! That sneaked up fast didn't it?
YAY!!!!

And here is todays excellent view from the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center web cam. All of those ice bergs you see have been holding their ground for a few weeks which is especially of interest to me since I will be kayaking around them and trying to get some great pictures and perhaps video.
Also for anyone that is not aware, you can go to my profile and find the link to my Alaska cruise pictures from '04, '05, '06 & '07. There is a slide show feature and you can choose the speed and you can also turn on or off my very clever and informative comments.
Rick
I guess this picture is kind of small. You will see a bigger picture if you go to the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center site yourself.

Hi, Jody: It really has come up fast! I appreciate ALL that you do to make this forum, the meet & greet and the cruise all wonderful feeling spaces. I am finding it a challenge to focus on daily-to-be-done activities while I DREAM about the cruise. I am FLYING HIGH!!! It will be incredible to be on my frist cruise ever, meet Abraham, Esther, Jerry, you, and all the forum members and your families there!

I have a question about wine. We would like to bring our own bottles of wine on board and keep in our cabin. Is that allowed? Does the corking fee apply to wine we bring? What more do I need to know? I seem to be focused on wine !!!!
Have a Happy INTER-DEPENDENCE Day as I view each day as not only loving, appreciating and caring for myself, but for each vibrational being, object on the earth. I experience this wonderful inter-relatedness in my daily "work" of finding the next best feeling. My joy is not dependent on anyone or anything else, but I am sitting in this time and space reality that I love!!!!
In joy and appreciation for my life, MaryAnn ::frog

When we called the Abe folks to register etc, Judith and I realized
that they thought we were a "couple"
Although we are a couple of Abe lover's, we are
currently two single women that are dear friends.
Actually, Judith rendered the graphics for my book
from hand sketched drawings into digital images.
We met in a spiritual/energy forum, then collaborated
together creatively.
We have been friends for 6 plus years and have never
met in the physical... So this and Abe, and all you...
how does it get any better than this?????
Wow

Nori and Judith - It's done! Welcome - !
David isn't cruising this time, so I also will be rooming with dear friends - two of them!
(That's right people, three women trying to get ready for "formal night" all at one time...) It's going to be a really fun week for out single women, single men, married couples, same-gender couples, you name it - we are ALL going to have the time of our lives! I can't wait!!

MaryAnn, yes you can bring wine - and yes there is a corkage fee if you bring it to the dining room. I believe its 15 dollars per bottle, I'm not a wine drinker though so you might want to get the details from Holland America...
I am looking forward to more of their signature Grapefruit Cosmos...

I know someone that brought on 6 bottles of wine but in their main suitcase that you leave for them to take to room, not your carry on.
It wasn't me, I swear!

You can bring wine on board....as Jody says, leave it in your checked baggage(then they can carry it to your room - otherwise l believe the limit is two bottles each)...and there will be no problem to have it in your room (bring your own wine key)....there is even a fridge in your room to keep it chilled (l am a white wine girl). Best of all you can buy "wine cards" at the bars in incremients of 10 or 20 house glasses for very cheap.......works out to 3 or 4 dollars a glass....and you don't have to carry the bottles on board....and you just pull out your card and they bring you a glass of wine.......it's great!!!!!

| To kick off the less than two weeks to go time I am posting this picture of the Vista Lounge from the ms Oosterdam 2004 Alaska cruise. This is from one of the evening entertainment shows. This is where our seminars will be held (and early dinner seating cocktail party) on the Westerdam. The colors will be different but the layout I think is very similar. There are a lot more seats than you can see from my not wide angle picture. There are balcony seats that you can see on the sides and that upper level goes all the way around above where I took this from. Attachment: 114_1453 forum.jpg (Downloaded 94 times)

Hi All
Reading all this is really bringing home to me how close this is, its very exciting. I am also sharing with another woman, one I have never met before as Worldview Travel did a room match. I am extremely easy going and expecting this to be a wonderful experience, I hope it to be great fun. Its one of the most daring things I have ever done, travelling to USA, going on a cruise and sharing a room with a stranger, however as my roomate is also part of the Abraham travellers I know it will be fine. Not sure I would have done this in my pre abe days, so leading edge stuff for me anyway..
Love Gerrie

Someone requested pictures with ice. I do have a few. Here's one from the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center in 2006.

Gerrie, You'll have a fabulous time and what a travel adventure for you! My first cruise was the first Abraham cruise back in 2004, and I had to fly clear across Washinton state to Seattle (about 50 minutes---lol)! That was a big adventure for me back then. I'm excited for you! Jody is the consummate traveler, and she says it is so easy. Enjoy your flight to the states and remember there will be lots of Abers to meet and to keep you company on the ship. See you at the Crow's Nest.
