Hi everyone,

This is part six of a series I started here as many of you remember about the first five subjects:

"CONTRAST": http://www.theabeforum.com/forum2/207.html

and

"ESSENCE":  http://www.theabeforum.com/forum2/331.html

and

"THE LEADING EDGE OF THOUGHT": http://www.theabeforum.com/forum2/757.html

and

"CLOSING THE GAP": http://www.theabeforum.com/forum2/887.html

and

"CLEANING UP YOUR VIBRATION" : http://www.theabeforum.com/forum2/888.html

I think I'm gonna lovingly call it "Abraham for Dummies"......  These words or phrases are important to understand, I feel, on a very basic level. So here we go............

************************************************************************

Thanks in advance for the replies. I'd like to hear everyones "simple" definition of "Vibrational Escrow".

-It can be funny

-It can be detailed

-Examples work great

-Stories are great as well

-Particular experiences are always cool.

Have an outstanding everyday,

Douglas

Douglas, thoroughly enjoying your 'Abe for dummies' and contributing my thoughts.

When I imagine my 'vibrational escrow' I see a big big big huge warehouse, floating around in space with all of my things in it' and when I ask for something the warehouse doors open up and the thing I asked for starts floating out and coming to me.

Anni - joyfully keeping the warehouse door open

::wow ::wow ::wow Anni,  my escrow stash is very similar to your warehouse description. For me, it's stock piled against the wall with a graph display showing how much is in there for each....... Can you tell I love visuals....::thumb

More to post later....gotta get back to work.....:(

Have a wonderful everyday,

Douglas

I had a dream in which I saw my vibrational escrow. It was a huge, sparkling city--kinda like the Emerald City seen from a distance in The Wizard of Oz. It was on the other side of a river from me, and all I had to do to get there was put my boat in the stream and go with the flow!

I loved the image of my VE as a city--dynamic and vibrant and alive and a place that I could enter any time I chose to go there.

Love,

Nancy C.

I visualize my vibrational escrow as being stacked up real high behind huge heavy carved wooden doors like a huge gate -- the doors are almost breaking and popping forward because there is so much in there.
I stand before it knowing that as soon as I simply allow it the doors will easily open and the veil will be lifted I'll have and be and do everything I am wanting.   It's odd too because I am not asking for "stuff" I am asking for freedom, time, quiet, privacy, space, a thin healthy body, financial freedom, relationship peace, work which makes me happy, and a bit more money for travel and home repairs --  elements that don't exactly seem like they would bust huge wooden doors down.  But to me they are the riches of the world -- everything I want and need.   So they are like treasure and so I see the doors and someday it will be open wide.   ~Chris~

I've enjoyed reading through this thread.  But what, actually, is "vibrational escrow"?

Is this a storehouse of good feelings?  That we "bank" and call upon later?  Do we actively cultivate it?  Or does it happen naturally?

Thanks, in advance, for answering.

Vibrational Escrow.....:beautiful:

Abraham tells us, "Ask and it is Given...everytime"....but until we allow what we have been asking for to come into our lives, it sits in what Abe calls Vibrational Escrow.

If you could see an aerial view of your life, an aerial view, where we are seeing you, electrically, it's like you are standing here, and over there is a doorway, and on the other side of the door is lined up all of these things that you've been wanting. They're just leaning on the door, just waiting for you to open it. They've been there from the first moment you asked for them: Your lovers, your perfect mates, your perfect bodies, your perfect bodily conditions, all of the money that you could ever imagine ... all things that you've ever wanted. Things little and big. Things that you would call extraordinary and significant, and things that you would call not very significant. Everything that you have ever identified that you wanted is lined up right outside that door. And in the moment that you open the door, all things wanted flow to you.

Hi Greg,

Good question! Especially since that's what the thread is about. :)

As I understand it, Vibrational Escrow is a sort of storage place for the things you create. When you launch a desire, Source immediately grants it--together, your desire and the response of Source create what you want. (As Abe says, when you ask, it is given, every single time.)

But because of the buffer of time in our current time-space reality, your desire does not manifest in your physical experience right away. That's where step 3, allowing, comes in. What you want is created; it exists vibrationally. To bring it into your physical experience, you have to line up with it and close the gap between where you are now and your own Vibrational Escrow. (See Douglas's other thread on closing the gap.)

Because we can't help wanting, Abraham always says that our Vibrational Escrow is packed full of all our marvelous creations--enough fortunes and cars and relationships and trips and experiences for several lifetimes--and when we get good at allowing, they'll have to offer a new workshop about how to deal with all the good stuff streaming in.

I hope others will jump in and expand on this definition. But here's a starting point for you.

Love,

Nancy C.

PS One of my favorite images of Vibrational Escrow was the time I heard someone describe it like a garden, always changing and growing and blossoming in different ways.

Thank you AbeNormal and Nancy.

Yesterday, I wrote down all the good emotions I will feel when "X" desire is fulfilled.  Once I had written, I carried the list with me to remind me to feel that way NOW.

Then I took it a step further and wrote down a descriptive sentence for each emotion.  A sentence that made it easier to access and visualize the emotion.  For example: instead of just seeing the word "Alive", I see the sentence, "Every cell is fully aware and awake!"  That has made the emotion more real for me.

So the last two days, I've been looking at and thinking about the list of positive emotions.  And I've been feeling them.  And it works; I feel like I've already got "it".

It's great to know that, by my focusing on feeling good,  the warehouse door where my desires are stored is opening up!  But I'm going to quit focusing on THAT for now - because then I'll just be back to focusing on need, lack, and want!::LOL

that's what also impressed me, I read it on the AbeList and immediately this picture resonated with me - because a garden is a living, growing, changing thing - such a lovely, live-giving idea, I just love it

Mmmmm. Thank you, Nancy and Lilianny. My very own personal garden of Eden just waiting for me to arrive. All I need to do is allow.

Love,
Christine

I was listening to an old CD from 2005, from a workshop in Oregon.  Abe was talking about Vibrational Escrow.  They said that each of our VE's had our DNA on it; that it was ours and no one else's.  We are not taking anything away from anyone else.  It is just OURS.  ::rainbow

That was a very comforting thought to me. It totally circumvent the "worthiness" question, which comes up in an oblique kind of way when we think maybe we may not be as deserving as someone else or must sort of "wait our turn."
