I'm heading to Alaska and I'd love to know what questions are bubbling to the surface for my fellow co-creators.

As Sierra mentioned on another thread, ideas seem to gel from multiple points on the leading edge simultaneously, so let's ALL get in on the experience.

Inspire me and others to ask on all of our behalf!

Toss me your best thinking to date. What are you curious about, Leading Edge geniuses?

No burning questions for Abraham right now?

We would be applauded! Especially if it means we are finally understanding that we are our own vortex, that the most meaningful answers will always come from going within and asking our own Inner Beings for interpretation and clarification.

Nevertheless, I confess to enjoying Esther's translations of All-That-Is (and her accent too), so if anyone wants to play Virtual Reality Hotseat, don't be shy. I'll lead the way...

To start us off, I'll toss out a topic that has been pulsing for me since the Caribbean cruise in March.

I am fascinated by the notion that the "havens" we seek are not physical places, but vibrational ones. A woman was speaking of a family cabin in the woods and Abraham playfully referenced it as a place where she can be lazy about alignment. It wasn't a judgement, just a comment.

In imagining the perfect, relaxing, peaceful conditions -- our own safe havens -- is it not a FEELING we are craving? A cabin or a cruise ship may facilitate the ease of aligning, but isn't what we are craving the ability to feel that way under other, less condusive, conditions? Physical havens seem most valuable as touchstones, as sources of visceral memories of the feeling of Well Being.

Are you using your physical haven as a jumping off point or a hiding out spot?

I'd love for Abraham to expand on this idea...

You know, Tara...when I first read your question the big (same ole' same ole') questions arose in me: gettting pregnant, relationship for my sister, business not growing for my parents, selling our house....

But, I realized I know the answers to ALL OF THESE QUESTIONS and it's......FIND SOMETHING TO FEEL GOOD ABOUT.

CINDY!!!  You are so right.  Sometimes I get myself all jammed up and realize that in order to manifest I need to just feel better.  I need to line up with by IB and the way to do it is to just reach for something that feels good.

I don't have a cabin in the wood -- but I remember vividly the Med.cruise - 6 weeks ago. I am still smiling, if it comes to mind - and it does often.

Describing my feelings there: feeling well cared for - always! Meeting interesting people and feeling appreciated by them; having lots and lots possibilities to have fun - and even if I did not make use of all of them, just knowing, there were around, was wonderful. Being alone, if I wanted to - being with others ( and specially with my dear daughter) if I wanted that; sightseeing in different countries, feeling there is always something new and interesting just round the corner!

AND I have not lost this feeling --- its still there ( sometimes). I cannot know the nonphysical - but I think those feelings are not so different.

Okay, I have one I have been thinking about.

We are all VERY unique in our preferences, in what we want, what we don't want, our likes and dislikes.  Our uniqueness is what expands the leading edge through all our different experiences as Source lives through us.

So, how is it determined or pre-paved or who likes what and wants what?  You could say that it happens through our experiences, but the things I like and dislike have not changed much since I was very small, before I had many experiences.

Does Source go, "Okay, that one will love dolphins and animals and want to live in the rainforest, and if she follows her heart, inner guidance and our Divine Signs she will be following her divine path that was pre-destined or determined and things will really flow" or "That one will love race cars" or "that one will find joy in running a mortuary."  Where does our uniqueness come from?  Is it experience from other lives we have lived?  Is anything pre-determined or pre-destined by Source?  I mean this in the sense that if we follow our TRUE inner guidance, our TRUE DESIRES, what WE REALLY WANT.... Where do those TRUE DESIRES come from?  Do we have a "divine plan or path" for us that if we follow we are living the life that All Knowing Source set out for us and that we agreed to live?

There is more to this question, and I can't seem to put it into words exactly what I want to say.... it comes from me knowing that when I follow what I call my Divine Path, that things work out REALLY WELL.  Magically.  When I ask Source, "Where do you want me to go, what do you want me to do?" everything flows and I can really allow because I know that God Source wants me to have it, wants me to do it.  And I do understand that my Divine Path changes as circumstances around me change and as my outlook and desires change, and that there are infinite possibilities to how everything ultimately works out.

Is there a “grand divine plan” of any kind?  One that Divine Intelligence has created and us as co-creators are meant to follow if we allow ourselves to allow our desires?  I know that my true desires have led me to my divine path.  Sometimes it is material things, sometimes it is not.  And what about “for the good of all concerned’?  Do things sometimes not manifest because it is not of benefit to the “bigger picture” or others no matter how much we align to it?  There have been things that I thought I REALLY wanted at the time, and I did the same work around them as I do for other things that do come to me.  And they don’t materialize.  But after time, better things happen and I realize why the original thing did not manifest, there were even better things in store for me.  Do we sometimes not manifest things we have put into our VE because we are meant to do or have something else in Source’s Great Divine Plan for us?

I'll leave it at this for now.  I hope that makes sense.  Like I said, there is more, maybe you, Tara, can find the words....

HAVE AN AWESOME TRIP, I WILL BE THERE ON THE LEADING EDGE WITH YOU IN SPIRIT.

Tara,

Brilliant...the way your mind works thrills me!  I love how you take great notes and include us in your vibrational highs!

In one of the books, in the part where Jerry and Esther each write their own words...one thing Jerry wrote really hit me.  He talked about he use to think there was a limit or cap to happiness.  For example happiness on a scale of 1 to 10.  Then he realized, happiness doesn't have to cap off of at 10...why not go to a level 11 or 12 etc??

I know happiness/love/joy levels can and will keep increasing.  I know it tends to happen more as the next logical step...instead of a huge jump to 25.  I know our level of expectation affects our emotions.

Yet somehow, I feel like there is something more to this formula to dramatically increase levels of joy to 50 to 100 to 1,000.  I just feel like we are the tip of the iceburg and there is this passive emotional set point high/buzz that we aren't even aware of.  The huge iceform underneath the surface, invisible to most.

So to put it simply....what is the best way to get even more Joy?

Yes, Tara, thank you.  This is what I want to ask!!!

This morning I was listening to the CD from Asheville, the one where the trucker connects with Abraham. And up came a topic that I have been wanting clarity on for some time.

Someone asked a question about when you go into someone's home, and you feel vibes you don't like...and why is that?

Abraham talked about the word "CONVERGENCE." That is, if our radio's frequency modulator is tuned to the frequency of FM 98, then we receive what is coming in on FM 98.  I get that.

But Abraham said we would not "notice" something that we don't like unless we ourselves had the same frequency vibrating within ourselves to "converge" on the other (unwanted) signal.

Well, naturally, I did not like to hear that!!!  I "notice" unwanted things all the time.  (Mostly in other people, of course!)

Abraham went on to say that we would not have those negative convergences if they were not active in us, and when they are not active within us, then we only "converge" with the "positive" aspects of the other person, and the negative ones don't show up, because there is no "receiver" to pick up the signal.

So, I don't get that.  Being aware of "both ends of the stick," I can choose to not engage with the negativity that I perceive, but I am stumped as to how "perceiving" it means that I am vibrating it myself.

With all the myriad of Contrast that comes into our lives, how could we not be aware of all the vibrations that abound?

I am fine with the idea that whatever I am experiencing or noticing about another and don't like is because it is something I am "familiar" with from my own "being that way" at some time.

I just do not see how NOTICING it guarantees an undesired experiece with another.

So if I am surfing on my radio, and I hear some misogynistic rap music being offered, how does that mean that *I* am converging with THAT, just because I notice that it is there, yet do not choose to participate in it in any way....

I think the essence of the question is "How is being AWARE of a negative aspect the same as CONVERGING with it, or attracting an interaction with it in my experience?  Why is that necessarily an indication that it is ACTIVELY ATTRACTING?"

Tell me if I am not making sense!!!!.

And DO enjoy your cruise.  !!!!::boatwave

Hi Tara,

my question would be why we are forgetting.

And I don`t mean the bad stuff, traumata often stay for longer than people would like them to...  I mean the things that make us feel good. Like the Abe teachings for example. We hear something, read something, learn something which makes us feel sooo great and gives us a feeling of: YES! Whenever I should feel down or not inspired again, I`ll only have to remember this, and it will shoot me right to joy again!
But for some reason it doesn`t work, at least not with the same impact anymore...

So why is it that we keep forgetting? Especially to feel good, although nothing is more important? Why do we have to re-read our books, or to come to inspirational places like this, in order to remember and to feel good again?  It seems to me like it`s not so much an intellectual forgetting, a forgetting of the mind, but more an emotional forgetting.

These are my thoughts ::chin

And I also wish you a wonderful trip, Tara. Have a great time and enjoy every moment of it!

xx Catherine

Ahhh, Catherine. Another brilliant contribution to the collection of questions.

Thank you for leaping in with your beautiful curiosity.

If anyone is hesitant about adding to this thread because you haven't distilled your thoughts down to a specific question yet, don't worry. Circle around the idea with us here a bit. Sometimes meandering in the vicinity of the issue will pull you right into the heart of the matter.

What has caught your interest of late?

I love the questions Pat and Tara suggested...

Here's mine (much more shallow I'm afraid!):  I'm curious about Abraham's response to "how far" we can go with changing our bodies.  There was a lot of discussion on this board after Abraham said we could grow back an arm or a tooth - we don't because we don't believe it's possible.

So - if we believe - are there any limits to healing, improving, sculpting, creating the body we want?  Can we do plastic surgery with our minds?  Can we change our appearence?  Can we tighten skin?  Make boobs perky?  Grow back a missing bone?

I feel like we're ready to take Abraham's "grow back an arm" comment to the next level...

I love this thread, Tara ::hearts  And actually I have sooo many questions, there`s always something to ponder for me.
But it`s strange - now, given the opportunity to ASK, I forgot all the thoughts I had
