Even though I'm posting this message, I'm totally putting this one on the Universe's side of the placemat...!
You know how Abe always says that whatever you want to know will be given to you, even if you don't get to sit in the hot seat? Well, I guess it's really true - even if you don't yet know you want to know it!
I attended the San Antonio workshop in April (my first) and there were 2 participants in the hot seat that spoke about autism - one was a mom of a child with autism and the other a scientist who works with kids with developmental delays and their families. I was interested in their exchange with Abe and thought about going up to the scientist afterwards (she had been talking about breakthroughs in communicating with these kids and was in the hot seat just before a break) but decided not to since she already had a crowd of people around her talking about it.
Well, about 6 weeks after the workshop I found out that my 18 month old son has autism. Now I would really love to make contact with them because I have about a zillion questions for them both!! So if you're on the forum - or know either of the two ladies I'm talking about - could you please respond to this post or direct them to it?

I think you're right... at least I know he's overflowing with gifts for me, and I hope I can reciprocate. And thank you for the google links - I just watched a great LOA/autism video!

Laura, I work with children within the autistic spectrum "dis"- order range. May I ask what video you're referencing?

I just sent the link in a PM; I am still new to posting here and I wasn't sure if I was allowed to put the link in my reply. It's a YouTube video about a mom using LOA (non-Abe variety) to deal with her son's Asperger's.
Thank you for your interest! Do you absolutely love your work? Do you have any tips for a new mom just starting on the journey?
There is so much info out there regarding therapies and intervention I'm having a bit of a time sorting through it all and making a path forward. I'm trying to find the path of least resistance for me, without judging or getting into anyone else's pie. And I am trying to easily allow my son's decisions/experience to be his own and just focus on creating in my own experience, but I admit that I am easily caught up in wanting to control the circumstances...
What a gift that all this transpired after I found out about Abe/LOA!
