Hi All

All the wonderful writings and techniques and sayings of Abraham's can be overwhelming  to a newcomer - trying to take it all in. I thought it would be interesting to ask (and see if there is some commonality) .......

What is the ONE Abraham technique or statement that is/was the most important to you. If you had to pass something on to a new person - just beginning - what would the first thing be?

When I first started down this path, whenever I went for a walk, rather than my usual negative thoughts I would say:

" I am happy, healthy, wealthy and wise."

It has now become my mantra...

Hallo suncat ,

What I often and often say to myself is: The cells of my body know exactly what to do to keep my body in good health - I simply have to let them.

I could give you a whole quotation about this ---  I copied it long ago from this forum. But I did not copy the date and workshop....::chin

This thought did already help a lot........

My favourite saying so far is Carl Jung's "You never solve your problems: You outgrow them."

I think one of the biggest traps we all get into is focusing on the "WHAT IS" of life, instead of the what we want, and why we want it.  We think that there is a problem that is making us unhappy, and if we solve that problem, we can be happy.

The truth is, being happy will cause our expansion, and our expansion will become bigger than the problem.

Heck, yesterday Yeslist put a post up that reminded me how fast I go from WANT to figuring out HOW!  I don't need to figure out how!  It's the Universes problem to figure out the how!  (And the universe HAS no problems!)

Of course, we are all different perspectives, so we will all find different insights that will benifit our particular perspective!  So, happy searching!

1) My blood is cherry-red in color, and perfectly clean.  It is full of natural oxygen, which it delivers to every cell in my body. I love every drop of my pure blood, and it returns my love by providing me with radiant health.

2) I love & appreciate my skeletal system for its wholeness.Every bone, ligament, tendon, disc, vertebra, and blood vessel is in perfect alignment.

3) I appreciate how I rejuvenate my body with live food and drink.

4) I've learned to use my body wisely and with appreciation, and it has turned out to be my very best teacher and my very best friend. I give it nourishing foods, clean air, healing sunshine, lovely sunsets, inspiring music, clothes made of natural fabrics, uplifting fragrances,  oil massages, internal
cleanses, and supportive environments. In return, my body protects me, guides me,and loves me.---Andreas Moritz

5) Joy and appreciation allows my immune system to identify heavy metals, chelating them from the tissues they're in, and safely removes them from my body.

6) My body is a magnificent, self-healing,self-repairing system, and an organic wonder that I appreciate more every day. My cells and organs, blood and bones, operate with a spontaneous intelligence, based on comfortable and familiar cooperation. My cells, individually and collectively, know how to keep my body functioning perfectly.------Barbara Marciniak

7) I am allowing the effects and signs of rejuvenation at the level of my DNA, and restoration of the levels of all hormones that enhance and ensure longevity and vitality.

8) My body allows re-integration because I love and appreciate every cell and organ in it with equal zeal. And my body knows how much I love it.

9) Every organ and cell in my body is in alignment with all other cells or organs, including the left and right side of my brain. All of my cells and organs cooperate with each other; a cooperation that is born of deep love and respect.

10) Every cell, every nerve, every tissue, and every organ in my body is whole, pure, and perfect. My whole body vibrates  radiant health and harmony.

11) I am flourishing and thriving because I truly embrace and energize the concept that my physical vehicle -- the body I occupy -- is of inestimable value. I accept my own worthiness, and am willing and able to feel genuine love and appreciation for who I am. I know that this is the essential key for opening the doors of change and attracting the very best experiences that life has to offer.-----Barbara Marciniak

12) My body is a love story that continues day after day. All the cells in my body love one another deeply. Every part of my body gives what other parts need, and receives from them what it needs. I am a walking, talking story of love.-----Gary Zukav

Hi Suncat!
I love your avatar ::cool

The one statement from Abraham that helped me a lot was the simple "Nothing is more important than that I feel good' For me, that sentence made me realize that if I did whatever I needed to do to feel good, everything in my life would just automatically go better and better:)

The technique I use most (also before I knew the Abe teachings) is meditating. It gives me a great feeling of relief, because I can let go of a lot of 'negative'  emotions and it gets me more in contact with my inner power. I love it!

100% Agree with Tai - that is the starting place ..

"Nothing is more important than that I feel good"

My now favourite is "It IS DONE!"  - I love that so much, that it makes me laugh when I say it.

It IS DONE! ::devil

Thanks Guys - these are wonderful - any more out there?

In my times of Abe Information Overwhelm I am trying to simply ask "Am I having fun Now?" (While walking with my sweetie at the beach today - I grabbed his hand and ran down the steep dunes - wooo-hoooo!!!! - danced in the water - ran circles around him and practised funny walks - it is fun being 47 going on 4!!!!!!)

Great questions, Suncat.

One of the most important take-aways I've gotten from Abraham's teachings is that my job is to focus on WHAT I want and WHY. (Not how, when, who, where...those details are handled far more elegantly and efficiently by the Universe.)

What and why, what and why, what and why -- it's a great mantra. Answering the "Why?" gets me into that good feeling place faster than anything. It helps me tell a different story. It is a key to pivoting and other techniques and processes. It's also very easy to incorporate these notions into general discussions with friends and family. I love to know WHAT gets people's juices flowing and WHY. Some really animated and exciting conversations can get going if you ask people to share their dreams with WHAT and WHY as the focus.

Having used this focus for a year and a half now, if I get too far into the nitty gritty details (the infamous "How?"), I now feel it immediately. My sense of emotional well-being can plunge. Yuck! When that happens I remind myself (as Abe has suggested) to "pull the lense back." To view things from the perspective of Source.

My favorite technique for amplifying these teachings is to journal. I can find relief very quickly if I take the time out to write my way up the emotional scale. I probably grab a fountain pen (I love 'em) and write 2-4 times a day for 15-30 minutes. It's my no-brainer way of getting happy (or at least happier).

"What and why?" and "Pull the lense back." Those are my favorite nuggets!

Enjoy!

Tara: What an excellent and simple idea. I love this suggestion to say/ask "what and why" and it reminds me of Simon's thread yesterday about asking why not how. Why helps you focus and point downstream, whereas how points makes you feel frustrated that it is not here, or doubtful or some other negative emotion. The U's job indeed!

The what part helps one pivot when I am not liking something. Cool!

Lately my favorite Abe trick is to ask my Inner Being for guidance often. I am always trying new things that work.

What a great thread! I love reading everyone's favorites. :):):):):)

A big THANK YOU to Tara! Your post was fabulous and EXACTLY what I needed to read today!  I love the part about asking WHY we want something in order to raise our vibration (had sort of forgotten about that one!)

And the "pulling back of the lense" is one of my all time favorites.  Funny how I KNOW these things but still can temporarily forget them when I'm having a little negative emotion.  I hope you know how beneficial this thread has been!

I'm off to write down my what and why!!

Much Love,
Tracy

I love me some Carl Jung!  And I totally agree -- I've noticed that no matter how many "problems" I solve, I'll stay in the same vibration.  It's always about feeling better.

The ONE thing that is the easiest for me and most important is Appreciate, Appreciate, Appreciate (or is that three things?).

Ooooh, yes!  This is a fantastic one!  I have lots of amazing things manifest as a result of appreciating.  It's powerful!
