Wow! Wow! Wow!
I am ALWAYS amazed (and grateful) at how I ALWAYS get what I need when I come to the forum. But this thread is a BIG one for me. Thank you, Sierra and Dan, for this. This tiny shift, this tiny distinction, is HUGE. I have been wanting to attract the "something" that would get me past my difficulty in visualizing or talking about my VE "as if" it was my current reality. Things have always felt "in the future". But this - this gem of an idea - so simple yet so powerful is "it"!!!!
I am in here now -- my light grass-green room with white wainscoting, sunshine streaming in and here's all my "stuff" - my successful book, my financial "freedom", my healthy fit body, my well being, my peace of mind. I can "feel" it all in a way I have never been able to.
So simple yet SO powerful.
Thank you SO much for this - for your ideas, for your willingness to share, for your beautiful smiles. This is bigger than you know.
So much love,
Jo

One of the great things about this perspective is it allows immediate ease and carefreeness because it takes the mind off of desire, and focuses more on the effortless receiving. Simultaneously, it encourages awareness, looking for and expecting the magical, and encouraging ACTION, because there is increased confidence about one's ability and the result! AWESOME!!
Excellent work, Sierra! Way to allow this insight into your, and all of our, experience!

Now this helps a lot. I mean, those Abe quotes from the new book have been wonderful but just reading this post already took me at least temporarily into the place of knowing. This is a great help into believing what I want is already done.

It is really fun to see all these responses to Sierra's and my posts. It continues to expand all around, it seems. I was posting about it on the abelist just now, and had a new expansive development while I was writing. I'll copy what I wrote there. Some is a repeat of what Sierra quoted, but things got clearer to me as I wrote, so I'll include it all:
Abraham is always telling us to stop telling our story the way it is
and to tell it the way we want it to be. The other day I made a shift
in how I do that which makes a huge difference to me.
When I tell the story of how I want it to be, I sometimes have a hard
time feeling it as real. Just saying "this is how I want it to be"
means "that's not how it is now". It can feel invented and imaginary,
and not true. Then I have to work to make it feel real.
So I changed to telling my story THE WAY IT IS in Vibrational Escrow.
Now it's not in the future any more but right here, right now. And
it's real -- I already know that, and I don't have to invent
anything, or work to make it feel real. It's not about what I'm becoming, it's what I am. What a relief! What fun!
So: I know that it's all right here, right now. I know that it's all
in VE as soon as I desire it, and it exists, let's say, in a parallel
universe. Some of it, maybe all, is invisible to me at this point,
but I know it's here. Now my only 'task', if I so desire, is to bring
myself into vibrational proximity with it. As I do this, as I get
closer to the vibration of it, I can start to see, hear, feel it more
distinctly -- simply because I'm in range, tuned in. It was here all
along, not as an imagining or a theory, but here, now.
It's a small shift which has great leverage for me.
As I write I'm getting another idea. I'm thinking that my 'stuff' in
VE (which includes expansion, wisdom, joy, etc. as well as physical
things) is humming along at approximately the same vibratory rate as
imagination. (Since I can visit my 'VE stuff' in my imagination and
experience it as real, it must have a similar vibe.) So it stands to
reason that the more I experience it as real in my imagination, the
closer vibrationally I become, and the more I draw it forth into my
physical experience.
I honestly can't tell in this moment if this is a revelation, a
clarification, or just the elusive obvious overtaking me at last, but
it feels great, so I'll pass it on as is. Maybe it'll be useful to
someone else, too
That's it. All I can say now is... whooooooowheeeeeeeeee! this is fun!

Hi All who have responded so enthusiasticaly to this thread (and to those of you who have not responded here but in your hearts)!!
You have made my day and my night and brought tears to my eyes. It is really touching to see your AHA's through this too.
Yes, Dan, this is FUN FUN FUN!!! I am loving these feelings of E X P A N S I O N and inspiration and the clarity as this develops further.
WOOO HOOOOO! MORE MORE MORE!!!
Sierra
p.s. Nancy, LOVE YOUR RAMPAGE!!!! Sounds like your VE room is at MY HOUSE, open to the outdoors, monkeys, macaws, ocean and all! Was this your way of asking if you could move in? After all, I AM looking for TITITO people to move here. And I can play a couple tunes on the guitar, will Blowing in the Wind and Feeling Groovy do? See, it's working already!!

This thread is really amazing!
You can add me to the list of people getting an "A-HA"! Something just "clicked" for me, it is a bit difficult to put into words but it makes me feel enthusiastic and light-hearted.
I also love the idea of visualising our VE as a large storage room, I think I'm about to have a lot of fun with this!
Thank you so much Sierra and Dan for sharing these insights,
Love,

Very cool image! It's like we have our own Personal Shopper who has instant access to the Catalog of the Universe with instant delivery of the goods. And the goodies are in that storage room, just vibrating in there for us, and waiting patiently for us to figure it out that it is really OURS!
And I liked that analogy that one of the Carib Cruise guests used, "A cake in the oven."
I got to thinking about that----how we have so many "voices in our heads" about having cake....too rich for us.....have to share it.....there will be some kind of downside to the having of it, maybe we have not been "good enough" little boys and girls to deserve the desert, .... yadda, yadda, yadda........
(Even when we 'reward' ---read *comfort* ourselves---with cake, it is not done joyously, it is done with "I *deserve* this because he/she/it done me wrong" and in the end I am going to pay with a disfigured body, Oh my life just sucks,so I might as well eat this cake")
I think what I am getting at here, is that we have conditioned ourselves to see the experience of getting what we want as actually some kind of an experiece that has a downside to it....."Money can't buy you love," ---all that mass-consciousness programming.....
I think that may be part of how we get in our own way as we rendezvous with the goodies in that closet....???

Great point, Pat. I think deservability/worthiness is the biggest obstacle/resistance we have to letting in what we desire.
While I have issues I am expanding on around worthiness, mostly financial stuff, (we never get it done!), I allow most of my VE in by accepting and knowing that God/Source WANTS ME TO HAVE IT. They are waiting for me to let it in. And I'll be darned if I will get in the way of what Source wants me to have!
If Source thinks I am worthy, than I sure should feel worthy! And I AM!!
I say LET THEM EAT CAKE!!!!

That's so true Sierra! What more proof do we need of our worth?

Oh, yeah....How about those who have actually an unconscious mantra of the Rolling Stones' "You Can't Always Get What You Want (but you get what you NEED)", and therefore they live it. I'm still working on that one myself, on a major topic!
