I hestitated to post here (partly because I already feel like I know what Abraham would say) but then the more I thought about it, the more dowstream it felt to me.  I know I will find the feedback I receive very soothing.

I have a mole on my face that has never reallly bothered me until recently.  It's a light mole (flesh colored) and is more like a bump than a protruding mole, but for the last year or so I've thought "I would like to have that off my face" - of course the more attention I've paid to it, the more I dislike it.  So, I made an appt. with my dermatologist and saw her today.  She told me she would shave it off, then in about 8 weeks she could do a follow up laser session which would help with scaring.  I like this woman (and trust her).  She removed another mole about a year ago (smaller and different color) and the result was pretty good.  There is a small scar but I'm fine with it.  For some reason, I just could not go forward with having the mole removed today.  I told her I needed to think about it more.  I'm sure she was thinking, "Well then why did you come in?"  (She was sweet and told me that I should feel comfortable before I went ahead with it).  When I got in my car I felt very disappointed.  A part of me thought "Gee, that was stupid, you should have just done it" - another part of me was proud of myself for not taking action in a situation where I felt uncomfortable.  When I thought some more about it, I realized that I was uncomfortable with the "scarring" issue.  She said there would be a scar, and she really couldn't guarantee how it would scar since everyone scars differently, and every mole is a little different.  So.......I think that was what made me uneasy.   (Side note:  I'm going on a trip in mid-August and I want to look my best!)

Now that I've had several hours to think about it, I am highly considering re-scheduling with her to have it removed.  I know there will be a small scar and that is ok, I think the small scar will definitely be my preference over the mole.  When I think of it in those terms, the choice seems easy.  I know the doctor knows what she is doing and I have heard good things about the laser removal, etc.  I've soothed myself on all those subjects.  My husband even agreed to take my daughter to two birthday parties so I wouldn't have to feel self-conscious with a band aid on my face for the next 10 days.  :)

My only hesitation now is I kind of have some energy behind the whole scar thing and I'm wondering if I've "truly" cleaned up my vibration.  Well, obviously not or I wouldn't be posting, huh? ::whistle

So, if anyone has any personal experiences that might be helpful, I'd be eager to hear them.  Thanks in advance!

Much Love,
Tracy

Hello Tracy

Good on you for listening to your inner guidance.

Before you do anything line up with what you are intending and pre-pave the outcome. for example pre-pave that all will go smoothly and your skin will be smooth and clear.

My story - I had a lump just above my nose for many years, doctor told me it was a skin tag, then it started to grow. Doctor sent me to specialist, it was skin cancer. Specialist wanted to put me in hospital for 1 day and chop out a triangle of my face and stitch it together again leaving a triangle scar right in that triangle area between the eyebrows and nose and costing me much moola. This did not feel good to me. I went back to Dr who tried to tell me I was being stoopid lol but my gut said no.

Later that week I heard of a guy who removed skin cancers in his own office and booked to see him. Bottom line - he did the job with one small cut, got it all, left a very small line of scar which he advised me to rub oil into many many times a day and I'm happy cause as a result he had to lift the skin to pull it together and in the process changed my nose a little and I like it.

Anni - thanks so much for you post.  I loved your story! ::TU

I just had a BIG realization!  The universe always knows what we are wanting.  Now that I have launched my rocket of desire for the mole to be gone and the scar to be minimal....I can just relax and let the fairies of the universe take care of the rest!  I actually called several days ago and made an appointment with a plastic surgeon to evaluate it and see if he could remove it, but the earliest appointment was in July.  I made the appointment just to save my spot.  So, now I'm thinking maybe I can use this time to pre-pave and have fun visualizing the wonderful outcome!  Who knows, maybe they will even call me earlier to squeeze me in!  When they do, I'll know I'm lined up with it!  :-)  ::rainbow

Tracy

Remember, there are no big life decisions. If you want the mole gone, have it removed. No big deal! And then move on to the next wonderfully fun and self loving thing you can think of.

I AM MY OWN VORTEX,
Carol

Oh, and while you are there, get some fun pain killers too!::cool

Hello Tracy,

Don't have any experiences to share of this kind, but reading your posts I just kept wondering: "Why is she focussing on a small scar ?"

You know the universe delivers what you focus on, so why do you focus on a scar, no matter how small when you could just as well focus on a smooth skin ??? ::chin

Carol,  YES!  You are so right!  Thank you for your simple, yet eloquent, post!  ::bow

Yes, Belana, I was aware of my focus on what I didn't want and that was what kind of had me nervous.  I didn't want to take action while feeling nervousness or fear.  So, I'm just little by little getting to that place of confidence about it!  It's quite fun actuallly!  And, I fully expect to come back here and post my HAPPY ENDING STORY!!

Hi Tracy,

Sounds like you are clear now and having clarity always feels good. I think in decisions like this it is an emotional journey, like everything is. I had a couple of dark freckles lasered off my face and I'm so glad I did. I know it is different than a mole, but I sense that you REALLY want that mole off. And there are remedies to help with scarring like Vitamin E and McDerma. And as you well know, focus on beautiful, smooth skin and there will probably be no scarring at all. Keep us posted!

Much love,

   I also would wait untill you ligned up with it. It is a small thing and  life is made out of small things mostly. There is no rush! We have an eternity to play our games!

   That said, I had a few moles removed from my face. I felt good about it. I have little scars and they don't bother me at all.aniheart

Silky and Daiva, Thank you for sharing your personal experiences!  I am actually really looking forward to going back and having it removed now!

I actually realized something today.  I broke a small piece of one of my back teeth and have an appointment next week to get it repaired.  Having to keep my mouth open for an hour or two may have been very uncomfortable if I was still healing from the other procedure.  :)  (The mole is very close to my mouth.)  So, now I get to have both procedures and be comfortable during them!  I may never know why I felt uncomfortable yesterday, but I know that now I feel so much more hopeful and happy about it all.  When I think about it, I feel good.  But, mostly I've just been focusing on how good my life already is!

Thanks to everyone for your inspiring and loving words!

Much Love,
Tracy

I had a mole on my face that I loved, ala Cindy Crawford around the mouth.  BUT it started stinging, and I decided I had to have it off b/c I'm fair and wanted to make sure it was OK.  This was 15+ years ago....

Anyhoo, I did go to a plastic surgeon because I had a really bad scar from the way one was removed on my stomach.

You might want to consider checking out at least a consult with a plastic surgeon...since it was on my face I actually went to 3 and chose the one I like the best.  No scar then or now.   But I like what your derma said about doing the laser, too.  New technology.

Tracy  ::devil  So weird that I should come across this thread tonight (NOT! ::devil I should be getting used to this by now). I also had a mole on my face that sounds very much like what you are describing (flesh colored bump).  I worked with a family doctor for years and one day many years ago I told him I wanted him to remove the mole. He actually said he didn't want to do it, he was afraid it would leave a scar (but he knew of a plastic surgeon he could send me to).  But I wanted it off right then and there (quiet afternoon in the office) it was one of those "HELL YES" moments. I told him I'd much rather have a scar than that bump, so he did it right there in the lab.

Anyway, as I said, this was years ago, and honestly I don't remember having another thought about it after he removed the mole. But just yesterday morning I was looking in the mirror, looking for that scar! ::LOL Couldn't find a thing. And I thought to myself, I can't even remember where it's supposed to be. Why am I looking for it now.  And here's your post. As I said I should be getting used to this by now.

Hey, Tracy,

I had a mole show up on the back of my kneecap that had gotten rather large and dark, and because it was proturding, it became an undesired item on my body temple.  So my IB in the form of my hubby suggested that I spray some "Thieves" spray right from the spray bottle on it.  Turns out he had been using it on some sun freckles (the large kind ) on his face with successful results.

So I have been doing that twice a day for 3 weeks now, and lo and behold the mole lost its dark color, and has been reducing in size, and sort of withering away.  Used it on my own big sun freckles on the driver's window side of my face and arms, and have had some results there, also.

"Thieves" is a blend of essential oils that is made my Young Living.  Sometimes you can find it in health food stores, but mostly it is MLM available.  I participate in it, just to get my own oils sent to my door.

From "The Edgar Cayce Handbook for Health through Drugless Therapy" by Harold J. Reilly and Ruth Hagy Brod

pp 448 - 450

Q-3. What treatment would remove the mole on my chest, or is this advisable?

A-3 The massage with Castor Oil twice each day; not rubbing hard but gentle massage around and over the place. And it will be removed. (573-1)

<>

Mrs. 934 wrote the following: "The castor oil massage worked beautifully. That great big old brown mole just dried up and fell off. It was in the middle of my right cheek and looked like a bug. It didn't seem to take any time. Just about ten days, I guess."

Edgar Cayce was the first place I read the phrases "Thoughts are things" and "Mind is the Builder" of course I read these when I was a teen and didn't understand they were literal not figurative. Not until hearing Abraham, 25 years later, did I understand what Edgar Cayce meant. Edgar Cayce and my dear old deceased friend "Mr. Bradt" (who told me about Edgar Cayce and got me reading books by and about him at 16 years old) started me on my Spiritual Journey. I traveled in the slow lane until hearing Abraham, then the lightbulb went on and I found the fastlane. I'm so grateful for both teachers.

There is more on the subject of moles and warts, please pm me and I will transcribe the section for you, if you'd like (it's < 3 pages). I can tell you that long ago I used his wart remedy, which is a blend of castor oil and baking soda mixed to a paste and applied to the wart. I did it steady for 2 weeks once a day and gave up after that because it seemed like nothing was changing. Within 2 weeks of stopping the applications, my painful 5-year-old plantar's wart started shrinking and eventually flaked right off the bottom of my foot, never to return. It worked even when I believed it wouldn't. I've not tried the Castor Oil on my 2 facial moles (don't ask me why) but think I will be buying some this week to get rid of them. Good Luck to you in however you get them to de-manifest. ; )

With Great Love and Appreciation,

Kelli

Tracy, what a wonderful way you are pre-paving and writing the script just the way you want it to play out! As my friend Sandi says "And so it shall be!!" or "And so it IS!"
::downstream
I am looking forward to reading your "It went great" post!!
:exactly:
A couple of years ago my daughter had some plastic surgery to put her facial bones back together.  (I know - sounds shocking... but at the time we flowed well with it... ) The surgeon went in through her mouth to get to her orbital bones around her eyes, and had to make very few incisions through her face.  It was quite amazing.. but here's the point and the reason I'm writing this here: He kept saying there would be "some scarring" around her forehead and in the middle of her left cheek.  Everytime he said "some scarring" I substituted "no scarring" in my mind and told my daughter to try to do the same.  A couple of times when we talked to the doctors they said "Are you aware of the risk of scarring?" We both said "yes" and I practiced saying to myself silently "There is no risk of scarring".  Now, I know the Universe doesn't hear the word "no", and this could sound like we were focused on scarring, but I also held the vision of my daughter's face, perfectly healed and smooth while saying "no scar" verbally and mentally.  My VIBRATION was "pefectly healed and smooth" even though the word "scar" was in there.. Abraham says the universe reads vibration, and does not hear words....  When she came out of the surgery with the wounds covered, I knew that when the bandages were removed all would be "like new".  And so it was (in time)! :exactly:

The other process I did: I wrote out all the reasons I was "worried" about the scarring.  "She'll look bad.. she'll be noticed for the wrong reasons... she won't feel beautiful... "  - whatever came to mind.  Then I wrote out all the OPPOSITES to that - what Source KNOWS to be true... and each time I wrote the opposite "Her body knows how to keep her skin perfect" "Her beauty if safe and assured" ... I tried to focus for 17 seconds and most importantly to get her to focus on it for 17 seconds...

Now, okay, granted, I had a lot of time sitting around bored in the hospital doing these processes, and you, Tracy, as an active mother of two small kids might not be focusing on this all the time.. but it doesn't take much to shift a vibration.  And as has already been pointed out - you've already done that! So maybe my story is here for someone else...

My daughter has a pinpoint white scar just above her eyebrow.  NO other mark at all.  She is gorgeous, if I do say so myself.  ::thumbThe doctors kept marveling at the absence of scarring at all the subsequent check-ups post surgery.  I was not surprised at all though, and I told them so.  So... they think I'm nuts, and I think they are genius surgeons and I'm incredibly appreciative that they, and their skill and knowledge put my daughter's face back together.  Handling the scarring thingie was the easy part!
(When you have the tools, which we do)

That got long! Sorry Tracy for hi-jacking your thread with my story, and thank you for your question!  As I said - looking forward to the rest of the story!!

Hello, I am new to the forum, but have been studying LOA for several years. I am so happy to have found this forum ! What a wealth of information !

I have been following the "mole"-topic for a couple of days.

I understand that it is best to go the way of least resistance, which for you may be to get the mole removed.

I am just wondering, why nobody suggested to manifest clear, smooth skin.

I am thinking of an Abe quote here:

 When you change your vibration on the things that are bothering you, the disease (or mole in this case) will go away of it's own accord because the resistance that it's indication will be gone.

There is no condition that you cannot modify into something more, any more than there is any painting that you can paint and not like and just paint over it again.

WELCOME ::heartsTACO::hearts!!

DEAR ::heartsTRACY::hearts,

A LOT OF GREAT HINTS HERE ON THIS THREAD!!

MY EXPERIENCE IS DIFFERENT FROM OTHERS=ANOTHER VIEW=

I HAVE A WHITE/SKIN COLORED MOLE AT THE SIDE OF MY NOSE. i TALKED TO A PLASTIC SURGEON AND MY SKIN dR. WHO DOES SURGERY AS WELL AND YOU ARE CORRRECT IN THAT THEY BOTH TOLD ME THAT THERE WOULD BE SCARING AND SO THE PATH OF LEAST RESISTANCE FOR ME WAS TO BACK OFF AND DO NOTHING AND NOW=ABOUT A YEAR OR SO LATER...I DO NOT EVEN NOTICE THE MOLE=IT IS A NON ISSUE. I DO NOT SEE IT NOW!!!

sO ANY PATH THAT YOU CHOSE WILL BE GOOD FOR YOU JUST LINE UP AND PRE PAVE AS OTHERS HAVE SUGGESTED.

ALL IS WELL::downfloat

::heartsKELLI::hearts, I LOVE YOUR HINT ABOUT CASTOR OIL=I KEEP IT IN MY FRIG. ALL THE TIME..I AM AN OL'EDGAR CACYEITE...SO I SHALL TRY PUTTING IT ON MY MOLE AND VARIOUS SKIN TAGS THAT I HAVE ON AND OFF=IS THE BAKING SODA JUST FOR PLANTARS WORTS OR FOR MOLES AND TAGS ETC GROWTHS AS WELL OR JUST CASTOR OIL???
