Laughing Wolf, can I come to the party?!
Feng Shui Wahoo That'll have even more wonderful abundance flowing to you!
I'm saving up for my kick a$$ recording studio, which will be paid off on Monday. There'll be $10,000 left over on Monday to spend.
Thanks SO MUCH for sharing all of your wonderful desires and purchases! It really helps to broaden my perspective to things I would never have thought about.
You guys rock! And you're SO good at spending money!!

"Feng Shui Wahoo That'll have even more wonderful abundance flowing to you"
I had a Feng Shui consulting business back a few years...I loved it dearly, and then the bottom seemed to drop out of it after a few years (change of trend). The Westernized version of FS (Lin Yun and Black Hat & Lillian Too, Karen Kingston, Denise Linn) was a definite dumbdown version of true Oriental geomancy (Flying Star, Joseph Yu, David Twicken) which is extremely complex energy dispositioning.
Anyway, I wrote down a quote per Abraham referencing FS:
"You are your own vortex. Alignment of other energies are like a very small flea on a very big dog. Anything that you believe will align you CAN help you align".

Infinitelove, if I'm understanding what you're saying... are you saying that Feng Shui doesn't make a very big difference? Either I'm going to align myself or I'm not, and if I believe it will help, it will, but if I don't believe it, it won't?
One thing I really like about Feng Shui, at least from what I've seen, is that everything looks so neat and tidy. The room really does "flow" and is free of clutter. I think for me, that's the most important thing. Whether the front door is facing whatever direction, etc, doesn't matter much to me.
But we all have lots of money to spend. So we can Feng Shui the house now and change it up 6 months from now if we so desire
I was at Pottery Barn today... so much lovely things in there! I think I'll spend some of Monday's money in there... beautiful colourful glass jugs and and all of the summer patio party stuff. I'll definitely have to have a little party on my deck and buy lots of fun stuff from the Pottery Barn. Bright colours are so joyful!

Here's a thought regarding Feng Shui: When we take charge of our own well-being, no matter how we do it, we are empowering ourselves and giving ourselves more and more of the FEELING of EMPOWERMENT (right at the top of the Emotional Guidance Scale). So, perhaps that is what is going on with its benefit for us.
(As an aside: when I applied principles of Feng Shui throughout my previous home, I notice a DRAMATIC and IMMEDIATE improvement in all areas of my life. I thought it was the Feng Shui itself -- which I considered the collective "common sense" of thousands of years of paying attention because it seems like there are actually valid 3-D reasons behind most of the suggestions I saw.)
Anyway, perhaps its strongest force is as an empowerer??
SUCH an interesting way to view things!

I believe Katharine stated it beautifully:
"perhaps its strongest force is as an empowerer"
I recall Abraham being asked about the efficacy of mantras and Abe's reply is that there was no intrinsic power in the mantra inself, but only in what the person saying the mantra BELIEVED it would have.
It is ALL us. Everything else are props.

Abraham also said the power of Feng Shui is that of a flea. I paraphrase.
I'll say this about Feng Shui: It's Deliberate. And being deliberate is so much more powerful than living by default. I think the power in Feng Shui is that in the commision of doing it, we are taking action that reinforces our deliberate intention to enjoy powerful positive energy. The powerful part is the deliberate intention. To whatever degree the action helps us make that intention more ingrained, I say, So BE it!

The key to the game is to do it if it feels good and is fun.
It is a process that is an avenue of allowing. If it brings up resistance or frustration its not the right time, because all that is happening is that it will be creating more mis-alignment for you on this subject.

Absolutely! Can I come see your new patio set from Pottery Barn? ;)
I have been off the forum for the last couple of days and just read the big discussion on feng shui that went on while I wasn't looking. I've always known that feng shui itself was a very small part of whether or not I was happy or prosperous or anything. After all, I have never had any place I've lived be feng shui, and I've always been happy and felt prosperous!
But 3 years ago a met a very cool woman, and her before and after shots of the really small houses was amazing and I really liked what she did. So I spent my money on this because this is something I would have spent money for a long time ago.
Oh, BTW... One of my days last week I spent my Prosperity game money on some nice cloths, shoes and tops for a new job uniform. Yesterday I realized that I had a pair of pants I had bought earlier that I needed to return. I took them back to the store and they gave me a gift card for the amount of the pants!
I spent 3-4 hours in their store (Banana Republic - one of my favorites) shopping and trying on all kinds of stuff looking for the perfect fit and the perfect styles. I found one top that I really, really liked that I decided to buy. I liked a lot of other things, but ended up buying just that one and loving it.
Now, I have another $60 still on the gift card to go back and spend next week (after they bring in the new styles)!
Hurray! The UM just brought me a new outfit!

SWEET!!! I love that the Universe just bought you a new outfit! How fun
And of course you can come to my pool party where I'll have all my new Pottery Barn fun stuff like the colourful cups and straws and all of that... they're so pretty and you can't tell they're plastic until you pick them up.
And there is a pretty... I don't know what the name of it is, but it's like a big jug with a spout on the bottom... I plan to fill it with Sangria. Yum. And we'll have fruity slushi drinks in martini glasses as well (you can have with or without booze).
It's going to be so much fun, especially with the beautiufl pool and the amazing view (check out the house and the pool, I've posted photos earlier in this thread). So much fun! Yay! You're all invited

Decanter. Oh, very nice! I love sangria!
I'll bring some Highball glasses, mint, mineral water, limes and tequila for Mojitos!
And since it's a pool party, I think I'm going to run out and buy myself a new swimsuit, a white linen wrap and a super cool floppy straw hat! Always wanted one of those!
Oh, and some cute sandels. ;) Can't forget the shoes!
I think I'll get a town car to deliver me to your house. Did you say what state you are in? Hm... Maybe I should take a helicopter instead. Or our private jet?
See you at your house soon beautiful!

$7,000?!?! WOW!
I put another $5,000.00 down on my Jag (only $55G's left!) and, my BARGAIN of the day, a really cool Art Deco Chandelier. I love Art Deco, but it clashes with the rest of the house, so all this stuff is going into my shop/studio. Pretty soon, I'll have to get a storage unit until I buy our new house!

Laughing Wolf, you don't need to bring anything but your lovely self! And of course your fabulous swimming outfit and shoes Everything else will be provided
I'm up in Canada, so you might want to charter a jet
Jonquil, are you coming to the party? Seems like you'll need a new house sooner than you think You could have a separate house that is done ALL in art deco! How fab would that be?
This is so much fun!

OOOH! We're all invited to your party Good Vibrations? That's perfect, cos I have my air ticket to Canada money sitting in my bank account from a few days ago! I really do, it was my $5,000 day and I opened an "account" for going to Canada, cos my boyfriend is from BC and I haven't met any of his people yet! Which province are you at? I might catch a Greyhound to your party, that would be pretty rock-and-roll for a girl who comes from a Pacific Island (NZ) which you can drive across in 2 hours!!!
Yay! Party at your's ! xxx I'll bring morning-after breakfast food, and a catering team to prepare it...
