Hi Everybody,

Slowly getting unpacked from the cruise and going through my notes is a lot of fun.  Trying to read my own handwriting is challenging, but reading the notes is bringing back the power of the workshops and the "new leading edge" messages.

However, before I post my actual workshop notes, I want to mention that on several days of the cruise, the participants received gifts from Esther and Jerry, and along with each one was a very inspired message.  Interesting that these messages have (for me) as much power as the workshop itself! I think it's because they distill it all down to little "bytes" that are so meaningful.

Here is the one I like the best (I think it accompanied the A-H bumper sticker that reads "Life is Supposed to Be Fun":

Dear Friends,
AFTER WE HAVE CROAKED, IT IS OUR DESIRE THAT THE THING THAT PEOPLE MOST REMEMBER ABOUT US IS THAT WE WERE JOYFUL, HAPPY PEOPLE.  AND WE HOPE THAT IS WHAT THEY REMEMBER MOST ABOUT YOU, TOO.
Our love,
Jerry & Esther

Wow... if we could just REMEMBER to REMEMBER that life is all about the JOY - it's really and truly ALL ABOUT THE JOY.... that's huge. Just huge.  When I saw that message on my pillow last week I just grinned from ear to ear, and knew I'd share this little message with all of you, as a paying forward of the gift from Jerry and Esther.

Wow.  That is just perfect!  I think I am going to write that down and put it on my nightstand.

What a wondrous way to be remembered!  How sweet of Jerry and Esther. Thanks for sharing this with us. A thought like this will be great pre-paving for me as I will have to actually BE happy and joyful::frog to be remembered that way! It will keep me on the wide, broad and joyful path (the straight and narrow gives me claustrophobia--LOL!)::LOL

Jody, I can't wait to hear more about the cruise and hear all of the great little nuggets of gold like this one.::TU  ::heartsChris

Gift received!!  What a beautiful sentiment...

I always LOVED the letter that Esther/Jerry wrote in the Quarterly Journals - and I miss those.  I wish they had a blog or something - I love Abraham of course - but I always loved Esther's stories of happy people at the beauty parlor or butterflies at the trailer park ... their letters always made me happy.

That quote reminds me of an answer I heard to a question on parenting I heard on a recent CD.  Abraham started a little rampage about how wouldn't it be nice if you overheard your children talking about you behind your back and they said things like, "my mom is always happy"  "my mom and I always have so much fun together, we're always looking for the best way to have fun" "my mom can always find her way back to feeling good" and stuff like that (I'm paraphrasing Abraham's words here - but I should transcribe because it was that good!).

Thanks for sharing this gem with us Jody!

Wow, that must've been an amazing experience Jody (gotta go on one of those cruises) I think I'm going to paint that in huge letters onto my classroom door. Kids will get it immediatly although it might take some of my colleagues a little longer ::LOL

I want a bumper sticker like that, it really captures the essence of Abe.

so much love
