Could it be that the trick was that my seeing beauty in others, loving them and appreciating them was the most powerful magnet of all.

I was thinking about the gorgeous guys I manifested in my life only to realize that the ones I've been the most attrected to were not the ones with perfect appearance although it could have been.
What is attractive, I realize, is someone's charisma, sense of humor, self-confidence, generosity, loving energy and lack of "self-consciousness" (if that's a word).
Take Oprah for example. We've all seen her on TV without make-up and really, she looks quite "ordinary". Yet, her willingness to show herself in her less than pretty state, shows how much she doesn't give a rip what other people think, which in turn, makes all of us find her gorgeous, funny, charismatic, even adorable.
In my opinion, Oprah is one of the most gorgeous/beautiful women in the world. Why? she is not self-conscious, her attention is towards the one she's communicating with, her sincere interest in them, she is warm, easy-going and doesn't take herself seriously and to me, that is what real beauty is all about.
As the saying goes, "beauty is from the inside out".

At the Asheville Workshop this weekend, a guest who had had a motorcycle accident in her own driveway and injured her leg was in the hotseat. After she outlined her situation to the Abrahams, they asked her, "Do you believe that you can regrow a limb?"
"Yes." was her answer.
I don't have Abe's exact quote after that, but it DEFINITELY was an affirmation that *finally* people are beginning to accept that!

A quote from Abraham:
Guest [laughing slightly] - Can I make myself taller? Can I attempt something like that?
Abraham – Not from that frivolous curiosity perspective! You have to really want it.
G - But can it happen?
A – Not for you. Because you’re just testing a toy!
G - But it’s a curiosity…
A - That’s what we’re saying.
G - I’m not just toying….
A – That’s the tricky part of this. Anything that you care about, you’ve launched a powerful rocket about, and Source has already become it. And if you don’t do something that contradicts what you’ve become, you will be it, you see.
But what happens to people is, they launch rockets like that, from a place of real wanting, and then they read books or they listen to others, or they look at the way it usually is until they convince themselves of the unlikelihood of them achieving what they want.
In other words, if you read the statistics about the success of books, you’d never write a book. Because hardly anybody gets published, and hardly anybody really sells a lot of books, is what they will tell you. And yet we will tell 100% of the books you care about will be published and will become wildly successful. Because nobody else gets to decide about that you see.
And so, when you want something, and you’re not contradicting it, it must be. Yes you can get taller, you can grow limbs back, you can restore your vision, you can recover from illness, you can have every illness known to man, you can be over it tomorrow if you can get turned downstream and get in alignment with your powerful desire.
All you have to do to create anything is to want it, and not contradict it with a belief that defies it. That’s all you see. But htat’s a big if, because you didn’t learn to defy it all at once, you learned it incrementally. You learned a little from that one, a little from that one, a little from that one – you practised it, you thought it, it became the way you look at life, if became your world view. So when your world view contradicts your personal desire, you got a problem. Your world view will always win. Because your world view is your expectation, it’s your belief system, it’s the dominant vibration that you are offering.
So as we said earlier, if you want something, and you don’t believe it, you have no choice other than to find a way of believing it. Find a way to help yourself believe that you can have it, you see. And sometimes it’s through effective behaviour, sometimes it’s through effective thought. You’ve got to find a way to stop dis-believing in what you want in order to achieve it.

Just recently, I started to practice the 68 second process on a daily basis. Each morning, after my meditation, I use the process to create perfect eyesight and a straight spine (which will also result in adding a couple of inches to my height). I use it for other things as well, but these two are a constant.
There is no doubt in my mind that perfect vision and a straight spine is on its way to me I get so excited thinking about it every day!
One day very soon, I will wake up and have both. I will then post a picture for all to see!

Sapphire - THANK YOU so much for that amazing quote. I have not read that before and it hit me right between the eyes... powerful. I printed it out to read over and over...
Pamela - you are in the perfect place to allow those things to happen... can't wait to see your picture...

pumpkin wrote: This is interesting. When I was a little girl, I had very straight hair. When I was 12, I got a perm. Since that I have never gotten another perm, and my hair is curly (when not pulled back as in my pic). So I think I must have manifested that change in my hair. Now, my hair is curly just the way I like it, but it is brown. I want red hair. I have it dyed red every 3-4 months, but I would like it to be naturally red. So, I am doing a little bit of vibrational alignment work with that desire each day. It is fun, and I'm excited to see the result!
The same thing happened to me! My hair used to be straight until I got a perm at age 13 and LOVED it. Since then it grew wavy on its own

i totally believe anything can happen if you put your mind to it with burning desire and believe it can/will happen. there have been times in my life ... once when i was a teenager that made me stop and think "i can do anything with my mind"--it was a clear turning point into rememberance for me.
like Abraham is now
and recently, i have lost a bunch of weight just because i pictured how i wanted to look in my head and felt beautiful every day. i would tell myself "you are getting younger and more beautiful every day" whenever i remembered to. now whenever i walk anywhere i just think "i am thin and toned" and i know that every step i take is like ten times that on the treadmill. i look as great as i feel now!
oh, and another thing i think about is how gorgeous my IB is, she is sensual and amazing and i know that i am morphing into her--long blond wavy hair and all (when in the past it has only been straight and i haven't been able to grow it long) ... also, when i was younger and as thin as i am now, i had small breasts, but now that i picture myself as i see my IB, i have really nice breasts too, it's pretty cool!
you are a creator and you can do it
