Do we know of any other that healed people like Jesus did?  I have not heard of anyone myself.  Curious, as to why not?

Can Abraham touch someone thru Esther and heal them?  Have they ever?

Hi there Chillinjoan!
There are and have been a lot of healers in the world.
From what I understand, we all have that power to some degree.
I would "google" healers that (fill  in the blank with the specific healing that Jesus did) and see what comes up.....please let me know what  you find.

everything I find are people who are trying to heal the way the Bible claims Jesus did.

I suspect Jesus couldn't heal just anyone.  They had to be in alignment also.  The Bible didn't mention those, only the ones he did heal.  (I am just guessing here)

I still would like to know if Abraham could heal thru Esther.  I think they can but don't dare let on or they would be hounded forever more.  And it's our job to heal ourselves.

I am curious is all.

I think Abe says the biggest empowerment is that everyone has a vortex where they are well and for people to go their own vortex to heal themselves. Listening to latest carribbean cruise cd and it really sunk in. So the best healer is someone who thrives in their own vortex or heals themselves by going into their own vortex.::boatwave
I would believe that Abe may have touched someone like jerry::LOL on occasion?

Abe although not action oriented maybe like Jesus is saying grab your vortex toolkit and repair yourself and don't just adore me because I am connected.

Well, there are lots of faith healers. There is John of God, though I don't know exactly what he does. Whether they heal is about the clients belief or ability to release resistance. We probably don't hear about such healings because they're controversial; look what happened to Jesus. (Though some say he wasn't actually crucified, so ???)

They have not.  They've said many times that they cannot zap the resistance out of you and that really isn't their intention.  They're here to teach you your own empowerment, so "healing" someone in this way is not really helping them realize their own power.

Abe has said recently that the concept of 'healing' is an old paradigm, which comes from the faith-based religions.

re: Jesus--They say that you could stand in front of Jesus dripping your illness, and he would only see the truth of the well-being in you, and that would be enough to influence you to your restoration of health.

I have to say, I feel like I've been 'healed' by Abraham--I used to be on anti-depressants, in therapy, twelve step groups galore (I needed anonymous anonymous::devil) but once I found Abe, all of that stuff just fell away. I don't drink, smoke, do drugs,  (Like Evey! I agree--What is the point of beer? ::LOL) I don't drink coffee, I no longer have long out of the Vortex periods, I am able to handle my emotions, I'm not abusive to anyone, I think I am rather pleasant to be around, and if I am not, I know how to get myself back into the Vortex without hurting anybody.

Anyway, I think their loving reminder of Who-We-Really-Are is so incredibly 'healing,' if that's the word, because it  helps me to return to my true self more consistently more often for more and more time.  And that's a beautiful thing.

Just sayin'!

I've never been much of a drinker but used to quite enjoy the odd champagne on special occasions or when out with friends etc.  Strangely, I too have found my interest in alcohol to have diminished post-Abe.

I had my birthday recently and someone mentioned champagne (which I would normally have had to toast my birthday) but my first thought was "what's the point"?  Needless to say, I happily declined. :)

There are a quite a few healing ministries within the Christian church.  Frances and Judith MacNutt (Catholic) have had pretty awesome "healing careers", and I have attended one of their amazing lectures.  Now that I think about it, I spent a day listening to healers with Christian orientation, and quite a bit of time studying their writings.  The MacNutts have a center in Florida that is called something like Christian Healing Ministries or something like that.  Mike Flynn (Episcopalian) does a lot in that arena as well.  Agnes Sanford (can't remember her denomination, something like Episcopal) who has now transitioned, was apparently an amazing healer.  Her writings are awesome, I have to say!  Mahesh Chavda (pentecostal) also has a healing ministry.  Those are the names off the top of my head!  There's another Anglican Bishop whose name escapes me at the moment but who is well-known in Christian healing circles.

Is that what you were looking for?

There is also a group called the Order of St. Luke which is all about healing.

This was a big interest of mine during my most intense Christian days.

The stories I've read include those of instant healings, as well as healings that were not complete until the person forgave or let go of resentment or that kind of thing.

I had lots of "aha" moments when I started reading and listening to Abraham.  Like, "oh, THAT'S what those guys were talking about!!!"

I've been part of healing prayers where the person was healed.  It's awesome!  I miss those healing prayer times, now that I think about it!  I can totally see why Abraham would prefer to teach people how heal themselves, though!

Just re-read the thread.  I can see where this type of healing would be considered "old paradigm"- we can do this now ourselves and don't need priests, etc..  (I felt from reading the Bible that I could do this myself.  The idea has been around a long time, just slow to catch on!)

I think that more of us are aligning with what Jesus taught....that she ( :) ) who believes will be able to do even greater 'works' than Jesus (John 14:12).  I think of this as the new paradigm to which Abraham refers.

Edgar Cayce did more documented healings than Jesus........we are ever expanding.

I KNOW there are healers, many of course, all with different ways of approaching the healing process.  And I personnally think Cayce was the best at it.

I am talking about the exact way Jesus did.

According to the Bible, if it is even true, all he had to do is touch you or one man only touch the hem of his robe.  Some didn't even know what was going on, didn't know Jesus, it just happened regardless of their resistance.

Who does that?  It would be like someone walking pass me, touch me and I am healed..........mind boggling

Abraham says when you're TITITO people will look at you and instantly feel better, so why not?  They also say we're just a couple of laughs away from having our desires, so again, why not?  Someone could be really really close and come across the right person, and there it is.

I think all these healers we're talking about (I don't know Cayce!)  did/do heal the same way as Jesus.

ETA- not that you asked, but I'm not so sure he raised people from the dead, though!!!  ::LOL

And they really are just stories anyway, at least that's what I've concluded.  (Not going to argue with anyone who believes otherwise!)  :)  If I didn't see healings in the modern day, I would really question the New Testament stories.

I gather there are infinite ways in which someone's resistance can be lessened enough for healing to occur.  Fascinating!!!!!!!!  I'm really enjoying the thoughts that I've been exploring in my head as a result of this thread!
